-1 +3 Arctic watched as everyone began to sleep, Onion wandering a bit away to catch some hares to eat. They had been captured by the Organization- or whatever this group was called- and couldn't exactly escape. But it was now or never. With a burst of speed, they sprinted off into an unknown direction, unsure where they were going but certain they wouldn't be held captive. (lost a screenshot, Arctic is getting chased by Onion and Lichen) Someone called behind them: "After them!" . Eventually, a group of 2 nichelings arrived at the new camp. "Who are you?" Questioned Fox Heart. "We're just travelers." A pomegranate-colored male said with a hint of nervousness. "We need a tribe to join." "From where?" Fire Ruby watched them suspiciously, particularly the female. The female spoke this time. "The jungle. Our tribe was scattered by apes. We came here in hopes of colder weather so we wouldn't be so hot constantly." She laughed a bit in a sad manner. "We got what we wished for, it seems." "What are your names?" Fire Ruby was oddly pushy on the personal questions. "I'm Pomegranate. And this is Dragonfruit, my mate." "We'll ask Onion about this." Something clicked in Dragonfruit's head, and her eyes darkened. "Of course. Is he your leader?" "Yes." Fox Heart was looking at Fire Ruby, who shook herself off and tore her gaze off Dragonfruit. "You can stay here for now." . I foresee this will go disastrously.. It looks like I've let a fox inside a chicken coop.3 points

oh no, i didnt understaand what she forsaw, but now i can forsee it as well. and for anyother people slow in the brain like me, i think FH (what nightfire means technically) means that pomegranate and dragonfruit want to lead a tribe instead of follow it.2 points

Sorry AGAIN for not posting yesterday... I started work on a chapter but it was already late so I had to leave it unfinished. I promise I'll post one today! Okay, here's an idea: if I don't post one today, I have to reveal a plot point, major or minor, that will be in the next chapter. Hopefully that will give me some incentive haha... and maybe appease anyone who Wants More NOW...2 points

Most mammals aren't ready to reproduce once they have reached adulthood. Some species have certain time spans in which they can get pregnant (like cats) while others have to reach a certain age. My idea would be to have the choice between a heat slider (female gets in heat all x days and the heat lasts for x days) and a mating-age slider (females are ready to mate at x days, males are ready to mate at x days).2 points

For the magical death spit to work, it takes one point for energy but they still use that, usually to clear snow or collect nesting material, with some exceptions if they begin to get cold For example: When Evergreen first hit Mud with it, she had one energy point 'used' but cleared the snow around the rock next to her.2 points

I needed to know some things since I was planning on making a frog challege, and I couldn't access the forums due to no internet, so I decided to do some experiments! The experiments were mainly to do with whether babies take drowning damage in water, and if so whether that would kill them automatically (like predators do) and/or whether they could not take damage if their snout-type was changed to gills using commands. This was my first attempt: Basically, I ran out of nesting material pretty quick. And then also out of food. And I couldn't find any wanderers either! Only one rogue which I was actually thankful for. So the default sandbox settings weren't very helpful (duh, they aren't made for experiments...). I tried again with my own sandbox settings specially designed for such experiments: My starters. I meant to have two breeding pairs, but when I copied Anarame's genes to create Operi's so I didn't have to re-select forbidden genes, I forgot to change the gender. I could've used the changegender command, but I decided not to. They fan out, looking for food and exploring. I forget what I'm doing for a bit here, distracted by story and normal niche things. Our first fish baby is born! To a female whose last name is Fish. Operi breeds with our male Whale as well, since we have not found any wanderers. Oh no, a bearyena disrupting our experiments? What ever shall we do? The genes of Lenrare, Operi's first child. I probably was taking this to show she was in danger. Also I have two of these for some reason. Thanks to the magic of niche commands, the bearyena is vanquished without anyone even lifting a paw to fight it!1 point

So I'm staring a playthrough with Virtues and Sins, the sins being inspired by a challenge. : ) Here's a link to the challenge page! Seven Sins - Challenges - Stray Fawn Community (strayfawnstudio.com) I'm going to try and make this a challenge for me. The Virtues; Charity Genourosity Opposite : Greed Charity is willingness to go out of your way to help or protect others, so that's what these nichelings do. They occasionally try to help Greed nichelings, but often times Greed will just shove them out of the way. Charity and Greed have learned to avoid each other. Chastity Honesty, Purity Opposite : Lust Chastity is the strength to overcome temptation and stay away from distractions. They also represent honesty, within the life around them and their beings. These nichelings despise Lust followers, and often spend their time looking over the tribe as a possible leader. Diligence Persistence, Effort Opposite : Sloth Diligence members are driven by hard work and lots of effort, and they will do anything they can to help the tribe thrive. Whether it be food collecting or defense, they've got it covered. They find themselves annoyed by Sloths and their constant laziness, and will do their best to try and send possible sloth cubs down a different path. Humility Bravery, Modesty Opposite : Pride These nichelings are very modest and represent selflessness. They often end up taking care of the children of the tribe, going to any lengths to protect them. They can't stand the boasting of the Pride nichelings, and will also try to shush Pride children when they try to brag. Kindness Compassion, Integrity Opposite : Envy Being the kindest nichelings in the tribe, they do their best to keep high spirits and boost the atmosphere. They will do any small thing for you that they can while they're still around, and never really expect anything in return. They leave the tribe the day before they die as to not burden others with the need for digging a grave. They feel bad for envy members, though also kind of get annoyed by them. Patience Peace, Sufferance Opposite : Wrath Patience has the willingness to put up with others without any fuss, forgiving others rather than holding grudges. They're usually the healers of the tribe, Most often than not, they're terrified of the Wrath members and their outbursts. Temperance Self-Control, Honour Opposite : Gluttony Temperance tends to keep check of what's appropriate and what's not needed. They keep themselves level-headed and go by an honour system. They can't stand those under the leadership of Gluttony, or those who would take and take without giving back. Sins coming soon!1 point

I checked her family tree screenshot and Kali does have recessive hemophilia and dominant lean body so she wasn't as fit for the frost lands. She was probably left for that reason and it would be cool if someone played the old island to see her story and the story of all the other left-behind nichelings unfold1 point

The above screenshots are mainly of the rogue male who impregnated a couple of the females and tried to get Eli, (who wasn't having it), and Halkrath (who tried to retaliate but couldn't due to having no strength) before finally being killed off by an angry and protective Garnet.1 point
