Day 1 of drawing people I look up to/am inspired by @Greenza I tried a new eye/mouth style, I kinda like it tbh :]

~| Info About the Playthrough |~ This playthrough is very story-based, and is pretty different from the original niche ~| The Islands |~ The islands are floating rocks in a endless void. The only way to leave is by swimming through the water on the island into the void, which is breathable. ~| The Nichelings |~ Nichelings take many forms in this, The ones you all know and love, and the Corrupted Nichelings are the main species living on these rocks.. but not the only ones. ~| The Corrupted |~ The Corrupted are nichelings who have lost the ability to travel the void and have done so anyways. When they enter the void, they will never be able to enter another island without Corrupting (or only for a limited time) Bearyeans are one type of Corrupted. They are dangerous and will seek out any void-traveler and kill them. |~| This will be added onto as the Playthrough progresses. |~|

Chapter 1 - Dark Beginnings Perspective of Common Common was confused. A second ago, she had been a regular nicheling, with bearyena hind legs and nimble fingers with a runner's leg, scorpion tail and ram horns with the ability to heal others. But now, she had no recollection of that at all, and even that figure with everything on it she was certain she was in seemed unreal and hazy. But now, she had drifted into a small bay, far away from all those weird memories. Pulling out of the ocean and onto the sand, Common shook herself off, looking around the small peninsula. 2 bearyena-hybrid children were looking at a red nicheling, with short, viper-like fangs, of whom was looking at the other nichelings suspiciously. Next to Common, a beautiful nicheling with a scorpion tail pulled themselves in to take up as little area as possible, soaking and shaking sand off their pelt. "Hello? Who are you all?" Common glanced around the group, all of whom turned to look at her. "I'm Outrage." Said the darker brown of the bearyena hybrids. They pointed to the lighter-colored one. "That's Ambition, my sibling." "You all couldn't have the minimum of etiquette getting out of that water?" The scorpion-tailed nicheling let out a short sigh. "I'm Trickery, by the way." "S-Sorry." Common pulled away from Trickery a bit, wiping sand and water off her fur. "IT'S NOT MY FAULT WATER IS WET AND SAND IS STICKY." Outrage yelled at Trickery. Trickery stared at Outrage condescendingly. The red nicheling sighed, and Outrage silenced out of surprise. "I'm Sanity." The red nicheling explained. Their eyes had a strange blankness and they looked ticked off. "Well... I'm glad I can get to know you all now." Common said awkwardly. "We should go in land. Our fur will dry from air, right?" Sanity nodded. "I'm ready to go." Ambition grinned. "FIRST ONE ON THE MAINLAND IS THE NEW LEADER!" Trickery sighed. "Guess being loud is genetic." . The group reached the mainland, and Common was blinded by the grasses. Sweeping it out of the way, he tore it out of the ground, letting himself and Sanity see better. "No no no! Don't do that!" Trickery peeked out from behind Sanity, pointing their paw to Common. "Oh? Why not?" Common held onto the strands of ripped grass as if they were treasures. "We're not going to stay here, are we? Bearyenas will be unable to find where we've been if the grass is still here." Trickery pointed out. "We're lucky this grass regrows." "Why do you need to be so careful all the time?" Ambition argued back. "That's a leader's job, not yours." "That's basic logic." Trickery retorted. "Would you rather get eaten or stay alive?" Ambition glared at them. "Nothing would eat me, especially a bearyena. I'm one of them!" "Stop fighting!" Common nearly climbed over Sanity. "We're still figuring out this place, it's not good to argue already." Ambition rolled their eyes, but Trickery nodded, their eyes morphing to look strangely innocent and docile. "Common's right, Ambition. We should listen to him for now, until we can think of a proper leader. Picked by everyone together, of course." They added. Ambition glared at the two. "Alright.. for now."

Prologue A Spark in Endless Dark Nightflower watched the endless void. They have always saw it from their small island.. But to be in it.. It was amazing. "Sundance agreed that it's better to attack them then just waiting for to come here and kill us, we just need permission from you to continue the mission." Nightflower was snapped back to reality, her paw reached out over the railing towards the darkened horizon. She had been staying here in this station for the last 2 weeks, Nightflower still didn't know how they constructed it. "I grant you permission.." Nightflower remembered how much pain that place had cause her and thousands of other nichelings, But she still wasn't sure about killing them. Sundance was right, they couldn't just let them kill more nichelings. They had to do something |~| To explain this: The islands do have a day/night cycle, it's unknown why the islands do as they do not have a sun or moon the words sun and moon in this are the ancient words for Light & Dark also how did they create the structure? I actually don't have a idea for that- you'll find out later |~|

Months Later Love's Curse Stalker was playing tag with Taisra, his favorite thing to do. He had watched her as a cub whenever Strawberry was hunting or doing something important. But as he ran after her, heart brimming, he realized she wasn't a cub anymore. Her horns, which had not been evident at first, only growing out as she grew, reflected the sunlight. To Stalker, her dark fur was the most beautiful color. He shook his head, she's still a mere cub, I shouldn't think about her this way. He had been merely trotting, but now as they were too far away from the others, he decided to speed up and tag her quickly. As he ran, he easily overtook Taisra. "I'm so slow," she grumbled. "No you're not," insisted Stalker. "Yes I am! You're just trying to make me feel better," Taisra pointed out. "Alright, you've got me. I admit it. But you have other talents," he said. "Like what? I'm neither quick nor strong!" Taisra exclaimed. "You're stealthy," he said, pointing to her velvet paw, "like me." "No," she said, "you're much more stealthy, and far quicker." "I think you'll make a fine hunter some day. You just have to think about your strengths, not your weaknesses." Stalker paused, but continued before Taisra could speak, "Let's walk back to the others, we're a bit far out." As they walked back, Stalker heard, "well I am leaving!" the voice belonged o Run. "You promised to stay until your cubs were born! And the time is coming near," Mimime insisted. "Well I don't care! I'm tired of pretending to not care that everyone's moved on from Fang's death," Run spat. Stalker walked into the group, "Do you think-" "Enough!" yelled Strawberry, "I will not have another argument. I will not let anyone in this pack have another argument at such a crucial time. I understand," she said, turning to Run, "you may leave if you wish. I'm sorry I ever brought Fang up that mountain...and I'm sorry for letting an argument distract me from my surroundings." "Sorry doesn't bring him back," said Run with a hint of malice, "but at least you admit some fault now that you aren't at risk of being killed." Stalker could see the hurt in Strawberry's eyes. "I will require, however, somebody to go with you and make sure you are safe." "At least until the birth occurs, to bring the cubs back here," cut in Mimime. Strawberry looked slightly off-put, but said nothing. "I think I'll keep the cubs," said Run after a few minutes. "You must still have someone go with you, either way," Strawberry countered. "Fine," said Run, "just until the cubs are born. And someone of my choosing." "Of course," Strawberry replied. "You," said Run, pointing at Stalker. "Me...?" Stalker asked, a bit surprised. "You're the only one who understands even a little bit how I felt when Fang died, and the only one who has no connections to anyone who had a part in his death," Run explained. "What about Dukkirta?" asked Stalker. "He's Mimime's mate, and Mimime is Strawberry's sister," Run said in an annoyed tone. "Oh, right, well-" "You will go," ordered Strawberry. Who are you to order me around? Stalker grew angry, but another voice said, the defacto leader, and Taisra's adoptive mother. "Sure," he said, unable to keep his tone even. (ignore the nest, like I said not everything happens exactly as it did in game) Stalker gazed at the three cubs nursing. He was amazed at the wonder of birth, and was glad he had come. It had been a different feeling just a week ago when a single still-born cub slipped out. Aside from the sadness, there had been an uneasiness when Run seemed to care only a little that one of her cubs was born dead. But all that had passed. Stalker gave Run a rabbit he had caught that morning to eat. "Thanks," she said, exhausted, getting up to eat. After a few minutes of her eating and the cubs mewling unhappily, Stalker said, "You should probably let them nurse again." "I suppose you're right," said Run, laying back down. Then she said, "So, I guess your job is done here." "Are you sure? I can stay longer if you'd like," said Stalker, I don't think she's capable of caring for them on her own...not the way she's acting. "No, Strawberry is probably waiting for you. You ought to head back," Run insisted, "I can take care of myself." Something about her tone is off...but she's right. Strawberry will be expecting me. What if she moves away or, even worse, sends a party searching for me? And I need to get back to Taisra...what if she's in danger or will be? "Good luck," he said to Run. "Goodbye," she said, as he turned and walked away.

An Unknown Vengeance Koi and Ghost instantly rushed down to defend the Outsiders. Finch, King and Alecto hesitated, but Fox Heart's face morphed into rage. She shoved Ghost out of her way. Ghost, having less battle training and weaker defense, fell backwards against the rock. Arctic jumped forwards. "Fox Heart, stop. These nichelings have families and children. Even you should know to not hurt children-" Fox Heart snarled, claw curling around Arctic's arm. "If I can't have my firstborn child, nobody can." She shoved Arctic out of the way, racing forwards. Finch ran up to try and get her to stop, but it was no use. She jumped forwards, grabbing Rowan by the scruff and flung her into the icy waters; she was dead before she hit the ground. "NOO-" Soil leaped forwards, slicing Fox Heart's shoulder and attempting to lock his teeth around her eye. Fox Heart backed up, letting him fall with her into the icy waters, before cutting into his stomach with her hind legs and launching him into the sea. He struggled to get breath for a second, blood leaking out of his stomach quickly, before he fell under the water. Fox Heart limped out of the waters. Dirt jumped forwards, slashing her face and forehead. Fox Heart grabbed his paw, slamming him down out a rabbit hill, before slicing his neck open, watching him bleed out against the rock. The rest of the Frozens were stood in fear. The younger nichelings of the group stared at Fox Heart in horror. To keep him from dying, Alecto had to hold a vengeful Ghost back, exactly as she had done for Fearless, who had died after breaking free. Fox Heart raced over to the group, claw raised high. The younger nichelings tried to run, but without a runner's paw like the one Fox Heart had, she easily caught up. Ghost watched in horror at the massacre about to happen, when suddenly- "Mother! Stop!" Koi jumped forwards, shoving Fox Heart back, who instinctively sliced downwards- attacking her own daughter in the name of revenge.
