  1. Using the new sandbox, I came up with a challenge I thought you guys might enjoy. The Re-population Challenge A deadly plague swept through the islands. It passed from Nicheling to Nicheling like wildfire, and even those with good immunity fell to the plague. Eventually, there were no nichelings left - they had gone extinct in only the span of a few years. Or did they? A pawful of mothers, hiding on the back of a whale, gave birth to their babies before passing. The babies are now the only surviving members of the Nicheling species. The Challenge: You can set age to whatever you like and/or prefer. Your starting nichelings can have any genes you like, don't get attached though, because they'll be changing looks a LOT. You MUST turn off Wild Nichelings, Rogue Males, and Home Animals. Your nichelings are the only members of the species left. I recommend making about 4 babies to start with. 2 for hard mode, and 6 for an easy mode. Start on whale island. Your nichelings should be no older than teens or children. The Goal: This is where the challenge gets tricky. You have to visit many different islands, and leave behind at least 5 nichelings when you travel. You are trying to bring back the nicheling species, so leaving some behind furthers that goal. The challenge is complete when you've travelled to every island or one of every kind of island (i.e one jungle, one savanna, etc) and have left some of your tribe there. After that, you can settle on a nice island and play to your heart's content. Good luck! I'll be posting my play through on the relevant board. Tips: Friendly bearyenas are going to be your best friend. That being said, don't make nichelings with G-H immunity genes. 4 babies is a good place to start. Make sure they all have different immunity genes. Adapting to a specific climate and then doing all the islands with that climate is a good way to save time and energy if you're doing the every island version.

  3. the entire life of mekoko. like seriously, her mother was the most desired female in the tribe as she was one of the two children born from the identical twin leaders of the tribe on their final day, and the tree the female daughter lived under had two resident bunny hunters that argued day and night over who would be her mate, even though she said she was not interested. after going exploring and being caught up in a bearynea war, she ran away with a baby bearynea and raised it, eventually falling in love and building a home with nobody else except her bearynea love to have a child. when their child, mekoko, was born, a bearynea came out of the grass and was right next to the baby. I had accepted that mekoko would die and they would have to have a few more children, but the bearynea went for her mother and killed her. then, the baby was raised alone by her bearynea father until the strongest warrior in the tribe found her and took her to the tribe, where she single-handedly won another bearynea war, earning leadership and god status. she was a vengeful goddess though, taking out her anger on unexpecting tribes, and is the opposite of tornado- whilst he brings life, she brings death. I feel like I just need to get that story out because its the best story ive ever made in niche

  5. (I DIED IN THE OTHER ONE) I changed the settings to have x16 enemy, x8 hunger, x4 environment and x2 healing. We'll start with three nichelings. Our clan is based off of the bulbasaur evolutionary line i pokemon. Bulbclan focuses on a close connection to nature, being peaceful, and on respecting elders. They prefer living in meadows. Our starters are Bulbstar, Ivykrill and Tawnyseed. Bulbstar is the she-cat of the clan. She worried about being called to be clan leader, but knows that she was chosen by Starclan. She often prays for their strength. She secretly was once a kittypet, but nobody knows. She is shy and careful with her actions, but is capable of being in battle if she is absolutely pushed to. Ivykrill is her mate. He is gentle and easygoing, and it is very hard to annoy or anger him. He was once a loner before he joined Bulbstar in her adventures. He is rather strange-looking in the face. Tawnyseed is the close friend of Bulbstar and Ivykrill. He is quiet and mischievous, and is a medicine cat. After a bit on the island, Bulbstar takes in a young warrior named Tinyyarrow. He is timid and mischievous. Bulbstar becomes close to Tinyyarrow and treats him as if he were her own son. However, one day he is out hunting when he is attacked by a bearyena. Bulbstar rushes in to save him, but is gravely injured. She survives, but knows she won't survive for much longer after a fight like that. She names Tinyyarrow as her deputy. "Earn this," she says. "I nearly died for you. Prove yourself to be worth it." She still has some time, though, and uses that time to have a kit with Ivykrill. She announces to the clan she is pregnant. While patrolling one day, Tinyarrow comes across a beautiful albino she-cat.Her name is Coldkill. She is only named this for her fantastic hunting skills- she is gentle and only a bit mischievous. Tinyarrow finds himself attracted to her and they quickly become mates. Bulbstar gives birth to a unique looking young tomkit and names him Mystickit for his unusual appearance. He is jolly and brave and has a close bond with Tawnyseed,. Tinyyarrow excitedly informs the clan that he and Coldkill are expecting their firstborn. Mystickit grows into Mysticpaw and becomes an apprentice under Tawnyseed to be a medicine cat. Coldkill has a beautiful son who she names Zenithkit. He shows promise of being a great hunter like his mother. Zenithkit grows into Zenithpaw, and as a result needs a mentor. Bulbstar assigns Ivykrill to the job, hoping it'll give him something to focus on doing instead of mourning when she dies. Mysticpaw grows into an adult, but out of respect for Tawnyseed decides to wait before becoming an official medicine cat or asking for his medicine cat name. Bulbstar dies. It hits the clan hard, especially for a leader to die so unusually young. It is time for Tinystar to take over. He is scared, but he is ready.

  8. Okay so I wasn't really interested in playing today but I took a few turns and HOOO BOY some events conspired alright. There's a lot of baby-having this time, so bear with me! I realized they were all getting old lol. The trio of adventurers Lussi, Asme, and Lare began to cross the river where Primir was found. The ladies were aging, so they were getting a little restless for a husband. Luckily, Hilus did have one male child! He's just a little slow getting over there... Bunnils and Stagmoles galore! It seems every time someone on the island moves, 100 food is stolen by those tiny grabby paws. Sirale, Ellela, and Primir (Eyebrow BOY) make short work of the braver ones. The brother and sister trio are exploring in the background. Oh look, Salty's grown his second gem! He doesn't seem to happy about it. All hail King and queen Wigglybrows Primir and Onewing Litame! Primir is forever in her family's debt for rescuing and healing him. But it's not like she's forcing him! He finds her kitty head quite attractive. And of course, they immediately consummated their marriage. This is the son of Hilus and Nosankuk (rip) Ruman! He isn't the fastest or strongest, but he's humble, just like Lare. Lussi looks a bit uneasy, though. Lare and Asme always suspected she could see things a normal Nicheling couldn't... It seems Lussi's suspicions were true! They stumbled upon the nest of a mother Bearyena. Lussi and Lare knew they were the strongest, so they began to attack the ugly beast. Salty made it over the river, too. He was primed and ready to purr! Meanwhile, on the other side of the river, all was peaceful. Lurdan the royal prince was born healthy, with a cute pink mane. Eyebrows expressed his joy by murdering nearby Bunnils. Litame's old and blind mother was going a bit senile, picking bushes and fawning over her grandson. A tragedy... Salty's purrs came too late! The Bearyena let out a mighty roar, delivering the killing blow on Lussi. Salty lost his cool, knowing that her death could have been prevented... let's just say he turned that mama into minced meat. "Kill that little baby, too!" Salty demanded. He then got into a lengthy argument with Ruman, who felt bad for the baby. The baby ended up eating his mother's meat... but they kept him anyway. Salty then chose the aging Asme as a mate. He has a peculiar taste in women... Asme was still grief-stricken from loosing her best friend, but she promised she would raise her child in her honor. That little baby in the middle is Isre, Lare's daughter. She's using the mama bearyena's nest too, which adds some insult to injury for the newly orphaned baby. Huzzah! Two bouncing baby boys! The albino is Nosurpur (I'm guessing Salty named him... no sir purr? Looks like he really wanted to pass on his snout.) The other boy is Novan. Asme decided she wanted to have one more! Will this baby boom ever end? It appears not. Kuman has become a father! Looks like Ellela was willing to overlook his ugly mug for the chance to pass on her genes. To the left is Mirtanu, the right is Rourmir. I forgot to take a screenshot, but the royal family welcomed yet another baby boy! He's perfectly healthy and looks just like his older bro, accept with a white mane. His name is Lurkur, what did queen Litame mean by this? Now we are cursed with a Disproportionate Amount Of Boys. Anyone have a "relatively equal amount of males and females" god that can bless us? You haven't seen this girl since she was born! All her life she's just been tucked away in a little corner collecting berries. But she found a sickly husband to call her own! Hopefully they give us some girls! and, Asme did as she promised. She had one more baby. She was surrounded by family and friends, and she had the audacity to name her child MOELLE. She literally looks like a mole. As she left this mortal realm, I bet she was laughing manically, knowing that most of the males would have to compete for a girl named MOLE. MOLE. MOLE. MOLE.

  10. Zenithpaw grows into a strong warrior. He is renamed Zenithgrowl. A new she-cat joins the clan. Her name is Goldenmoon. She is very careful and very beautiful, but evidently shows very little interest in any potential mates in the clan. Shortly after the shift of leadership, Coldkill becomes pregnant again. She has a daughter, who she names Mothkit. Mothkit is impulsive and timid, often rarely talking to other cats aside from her immediate family. A bearyena attacks the clan. Just like Bulbstar before him, Tinystar is gravely wounded defending his clan. Merely days left to live, he chooses his deputy carefully. "Ivykrill," he calls weakly, urging the cat into his den. "Yes, Tinystar?" "I want to thank you." He winces as he tries to stretch. "You took me in years ago, and I am forever in your debt for giving me a good life. Had Bulbstar not found me, I highly doubt I would have survived to now. I was practically carnivore bait." He averts his eyes from the older tom. "Sad to say I got myself in danger again. Still..." He looks up slightly. "I'm honored to go the same way she did for me." "She loved you very much," affirms Ivykrill. "She loved you just as much as she loved Mysticpaw." "I want to repay who she loved most, though," Tinystar says weakly. "I want you to be the next leader." Ivykrill, taken aback, flattens his ears. "I... I don't know what to say." "Please," says Tinystar. "Take my place." ~~ Speckled paws approach older, more experienced ones. Mysticpaw sits beside his mentor. "I'm telling you, Tawnyseed," he contests, "There is something more to this. "Two leaders in a row die the same way." "An attack is a common death," explains Tawnyseed calmly. "But don't you fear that the stars are trying to tell us something? That Bulbstar is trying to tell us something?" "I pray that whatever it is doesn't require another bloody death." ~~ Tinystar dies mere days later, and Ivystar takes his place. He makes his deputy Coldkill. Mothpaw is old enough to become an apprentice now, and Ivystar assigns her mentor to be Zenithgrowl, thinking that having the siblings bond will allow the pain of their father's loss to heal a bit. What should be a happy ceremony is a solemn one for Mothpaw, and she speaks even less than she did before. Mothpaw does grow up, though, and is named Mothmirror. The clan is attacked by another bearyena, but no one is injured or killed. They take this as a personal victory. The clan is later joined by an apprentice named Heatherpaw. However, since she's been on her own, she has named herself Heathervulture. Everyone just goes with it- they're simply happy to have a new member. She is calm and jolly and makes for a good warrior. Heathervulture becomes an adult, and decides that she is attracted to Zenithgrowl. She asks him to be her mate, and he says yes. The clan is joined by a young warrior named Morningmane. He is serious and quiet, for he fears one day dying a gorey or painful death. Heathervulture annouces that she is kitting. The clan, who hasn't seen a newborn kit for many moons, is overjoyed. She has a she-kit named Ramkit. She seems mild, but has a dark side to her, for Mysticpaw reveals to Ivyseed that he has had dreams of the kit growing up to become a dreadful killer.

  12. This is a pretty basic challenge. You have to add the color code for black into your color file #000000 and then have all your Nichelings always have black gemstones. That way, if you aren't super careful you won't know how much energy a Nicheling has left.

  13. I'm trying to do my challenge, which you can find right here! I'm doing the hard version, where I completely rely on mutations and wanderer genes only to try to adapt to my environment. Wish me luck please 😓 We begin with, from left to right, Zatala, Anamera, and Zerolur. Jungle creatures, who have stumbled onto the wrong island. Spots for camouflage, toxic body and stinky tails to ward of predators, velvet paws to tiptoe across the jungle floor. Zerolur even has bird beak to help him pick at termites from their mounds, and a lean body to help him stay cool in the heat (completely forgot that big ears could've also been added, oops). But none of these helpful jungle genes will do them good in the freezing snow. Hesitantly they begin to explore. help me please Okay well apparently termite mounds occur on snow islands. Guess Zerolur's beak just became way more handy. He slurps some up and mates with Anamera, who quickly settles down in a nest. Zatala manages to snag a rabbil. So far so good, but there seems to be something rustling in the grass... Anamera gives birth to her first child, a bearyena headed male named Tano. Unfortunately he inherits his father's lean body, but overall he isn't so bad. Zerolur and Zatala focus on providing food for the small group, but they are eyeing each other through the grass blades. They mate the next day, and Anamera takes her first step onto the hard ground of the snow island. It feels unfamiliar and foreboding under her paws, yet she chooses to stay. It is her new home and she'll have to get used to it. Zatala gives birth to a beautiful son, Vankirkir, that has her tortoiseshell markings. He also sports a purr snout and luckily, medium body. I can tell he'll come to his tribe's aid later, healing them after attacks or hunger pangs. Two days later Zatala gives birth to twins, boys named Twizzler and Tango. They are nearly the same, except Tango has some antennae. Anamera also gives birth to a boy named Strawberry (so many boys oh god) and Zerolur continues to harvest termites and guard his children. Tragedy strikes. Zatala is attacked by a rogue male when trying to pick berries and becomes pregnant. Zerolur chases the male off, but he doesn't go very far. Twizzler and Tango watch in shock as the sudden scene plays out in front of them. Vankirkir however finds a new face skittering across the roots of a nearby acorn Tree. A lovely female his age, Ladybug. Unfortuantely she is quite slow and shows hints of aquatic ancestry, but Vankirkir could care less. Risking the growing group's food stores, he invites her into the tribe. Cold suddenly descends on the tribe, chilling Anamera to her bones. Tango and Vankirkir quickly jump to her side, warming her up. Twizzler meanwhile investigates his half-brother Strawberry, a red and pink strange looking fella. The two play-wrestle while Zatala's rogue attacker lurks nearby. The rogue's son, born a day or two before, has been tossed into the sea by Zerolur himself. He had twittered in satisfaction as the infant sank below the surface. Chaos. A mother bearyena and her cub pass by, leaving bleeding claw marks on Zerolur's and Zatala's hides. Tano, now grown and an excellent food provider, spots a bluebird up ahead. The weather grows colder. But the tribe isn't doomed yet. Tango, Strawberry, and Tano work together to bring the mother bearyena down. The bearyena cub scuttles away, and fortunately the rogue male dives into the sea, seemingly searching for his drowning son. Hopefully he drowns in the process am I right Soon it will begin to snow, and the tribe knows it. They huddle together, providing each other warmth and company. Strawberry and his other half-brother Tango settle next to a vulnerable Anamera and prepare for the first snowflakes to fall. The others try desperately to gather food for the coming freezing days. And sadly, Zatala's rogue son joins the crabbits and seaweed in a watery grave... honestly I feel so bad I've never purposefully killed a nicheling That's part one for now! Hopefully things look up next time, but that doesn't seem likely...

  22. The Shadow Challenge, try to make nichelings that survive in the jungle, (You don't need to start in the jungle.) while making them all black or melanistic. Those who are black are always the highest rank, ordering other nichelings about what to do. Black/Melanistic nichelings can do whatever they want. Breed, walk around, fight, collect, and anything else. Black/Melanistic nichelings are always put first. You can only put in one mutation in the mutation menu, the other one is just left empty. Also no clearing grass. (Have fun with that!) Please suggest things to add or take away for/from this challenge! I took an hour trying to make this up.

  23. A tribe where their roles are based off of the seven sins. There are (of course) seven roles: Pride: Those born of Pride will lead this tribe, always being the first to move and act of the tribe. They make rash decisions to prove that they are better than those they consider below them. Those in the Pride Faction are considered beautiful and it isn’t uncommon that they will scorn children that do not fit their criteria. Greed: As soon as they are able to walk, they will always seek out objects to add to their ever-growing collection. They will take anything and everything, including grass, fruits, and maybe live creatures. Of course they can’t add live creatures, but who’s to say that they won’t try to kill them to get them to stop moving? Those who belong in the Greed Faction are useful for clearing out islands. Lust: They constantly seek for others to breed with, regardless of who they are. As soon as they give birth, they give not a glance to their spawn before seeking something to procreate with. The creatures of the Lust Faction are responsible for giving birth to much of the tribe’s population. Envy: Perhaps they were tossed aside by their prideful parents. Perhaps they were a spawn of lustlings or were constantly pushed around by the those belonging to Wrath. Whatever the case is, they detest and are jealous of their tribemates, itching to do something amazing to prove they are better than their tribemates. Even if that costs them their lives. It is not uncommon for nichelings to start up in the Envy Faction. Envyers commonly get moved into other ranks though some are to stay forever. Gluttony: They love to feast and try to eat everything their islands have to offer. Because of this, they spends their days picking bushes clean and trying to collect as much meat and acorns as they can. Creatures who belong to the Gluttony Faction are responsible for the food supply. Wrath: They fester with fury and hatred, destroying everything in their path, even if they are weak themselves. They won’t rest until their targets are destroyed. Despite their famous hot-temper, those in the Wrath Faction are heavily depended upon for protection. Sloth: There is no faction more useless than the Sloth Faction. They are absolutely useless, doing nothing but lazing in the sun or relaxing at the beach or springs. Sometimes, they stubbornly stay in nests or in one spot, absolutely refusing to move despite the prodding the endure. As infuriating and useless they are, they are the best candidates to distract predators and shielding tribemates. They always move last. Children’s roles can be decided either manually or by number generator. It’s up to you. When assigned to their faction, they must act according to the description. [Playthrough] Coming Soon...

  24. As simple as it sounds. Here are the rules: Your goal is to get to 100 nichelings as fast as possible. You must keep breeding, even if you don't have enough food to feed everyone. No cheating!! This means A) No console. B) No changing the age sliders. C) You can only start with two nichelings. D) You must start with 20 food and 10 nesting material. (Of course, B - D apply to sandbox mode. Oh, and also, I didn't just say "keep it to normal settings" because you can deck out your starters as much as you'd like and get rid of anything you want in the world settings.) You can continue to try to get as much nichelings as possible after getting 100 if you so choose. That's it. I have yet to try it, so maybe you could say how it went for you if you choose to do this?

  25. so I saw this somewhere on a website, but the creatures had a lot of weird genes that made it hard to see so here the fur colour is white, and the pattern colour is black. (also be prepared for some really stupid random names thanks to me putting in warrior name parts into the syllables list) starting with mask pattern shape a, tiny pattern size, very thin pattern density. next is mask, pattern shape a, tiny pattern, very thin and thin density mask, pattern shape a, pattern size tiny, pattern density very thin and medium mask, pattern shape a, tiny size, pattern density very thin and thick mask, pattern shape a, tiny size, very thin and very thick density mask, pattern shape a, tiny pattern, pattern density thin and thin. mask, pattern shape a, tiny pattern, thin and medium density (im gonna stop writing the pattern and pattern shape because you can tell from the picture) tiny size, thin and thick density tiny pattern, pattern density thin and very thick tiny size, density medium and medium size tiny, density medium thick tiny size, pattern density medium and very thick tiny size, density thick and thick size tiny, density thick and very thick size tiny, density very thick very thick -to be continued- if anyone wants to request a particular pattern on a nicheling with specific genes, ask!

  26. Why hello there. I made a poll asking which island I should go to first. Right now it's a tie between Summer Mountains and Frost Lands, with six votes each. Seeing that I already have a tribe on Frost Lands (even though they are all well adapted), I am going to pick Summer Mountains as my first island! So without further ado... Here are our first victims: Mr. Rippenpeace and Ripperella. I gave them basic starter genes that will still come in handy, but colors were randomized. I quite like them. Very pink. 10/10. Also turned off Palm Trees because they do not fit the environment, and it seems to have worked this time. Yay! A permanent nest! First two children. Doing okay food wise. Check out the ports! Frost Lands to the north... Burning Savanna to the east... ...And Jungle Gate to the west. Happy Family. Food still okay Migrating a bit farther North. First Bluebread! O no! Our first visitor. Hello there! He is old but he becomes mates with what's her name oof Lenana. He has recessive big body so his kids may come in useful someday. Riperella's next baby (such pink!!). Food's getting shaky. Luckily there are lots of rabbils nearby to eat. Lenana's first child! Oh hi there Mister Bear! Second child of Lenana. At this point I realized I forgot to put Runner Leg into the dad's mutation menu, hence the crippled paw. YIKES! A whole FAMILY of bearyenas! Good thing Uncle Creepo is here to save us! So I pass the day, the whole pack of Bearyenas come at us, and immediately retreat back to where they were before once they behold Uncle Creepo's creepy stalker face. I don't even know how my tribe could have accepted him! ...And then this guy shows up. Heck, we are having a better Bear Party than JessiMew!

  29. My Mekoko had a much simpler story. She appeared out of no where to a jungle tribe, who wanted to invite her in but couldn't waste food on her, and she was also kinda old. Anyways a creature got stuck in a carnivorous plant and she helped the plant eat him, though his friends managed to get him out. Then two females were impregnated by a rogue male (who was blessed by Oz with Green toxic body; he also impregnated Anaanala) decided to follow Mekoko into the grass, thinking she would lead them to a safe place to have their children. Wrong. They had a son each, but all four of them were eaten by plants with a Big Nosed Ape watching. Mekoko was announced goddess of Trickery (though some believe she is also the goddess of death). Anyways, the saddest story from my tribes. That same jungle tribe (before Mekoko appeared) found a pink toxic bodied teen named Anaanala in a swampy part of the jungle island. Anaanala was always hot. Then she got pregnant with that Rogue Males (mentioned above) child. Then she got the sleeping sickness, so combining that and the heat, she was immobile. When she was finally released from the sickness (the bugs kept getting to her every time she was close to being healthy again), it was her last day. She used her final day building her nest. The next day, she died, leaving behind a green little boy with frog legs. The tribe was ready to leave the island when he was born, but waited a long time so he could get to them. I think the save below is the one from that tribe. I stopped playing shortly after they got to the next island, so Anaanala's son should still be alive. Anaanala is rumored (within my tribes) to be the sisiter of Mekoko, Jungli and Jungla (sisters of the Jungle). Anaanala is the goddess of the Swamp. Slot4.nichesave

  37. Hey, back with another challenge that I made up in a few minutes and that someone has probably already made. I don't know how to introduce posts so let's just jump into it shall we? Not My Island Challenge The goal of the Not My Island Challenge is to adapt. I know, that's basically what Niche is, but let me elaborate. You must start off on an island that is the completely wrong environment for your Nichelings. With the new sandbox settings, you must create creatures that are adapted for a certain environment and toss them into a different one. There are three levels of intensity: Easy~ Create Nichelings with some adaptions in their dominant alleles already, so you can just work to breed those in and make them adapt quickly. Moderate~ Create Nichelings that are adapted to a different environment but have recessive (or randomized) genes that will help them with their new island. You can try to breed these recessive genes out to dominant so you can adapt. Hard~ Create Nichelings that have the completely wrong genes in their dominant and recessive alleles. You must rely on unlocking mutations and breeding with wanderers to adapt. Examples, me putting animals specialized for life in water onto a Whale Island. Or creating Jungle creatures and putting them on a Snowy Mountain. The goal is to fully adapt to the island. You cannot have any of your beginning genes in your dominant or recessive alleles! So yeah that's pretty much it. I might start this challenge soon, I'll link it here as a playthrough later:

  41. So I think the spawn rates are way to high. No three days go by without me finding at least one wanderer. It is insane. (I bet it is related to the longer lifespans but still) it is almost so annyoing that I kinda want to not have them in my game at all, but that would make it to hard geneticly. Next point all the wanderers I encounter are either teens, children or babies, Nothing older than that has ever appeared since 1.1.7 (and it seems like they all land in the first gen in the family tree again)

  44. Brought to you by a minor ragequit at accidentally hitting the end day button twice I would super appreciate a feature where, if you try to end the day either by hitting the button or pressing space, that the game checks for creatures with energy left and if there are creatures with energy left, it asks you if you really want to end the day. Just to prevent the accidental hit of the Day end button, since it's REALLY EASY to hit it when you don't remember to centre the camera on a creature and want to move around the top of the screen.

  45. True, but I feel like that might make you too reliant on wanderers without actually addressing the problem (if that makes sense). For example, wanderers likely have vastly different genes from what is currently in your tribe. If you kept constantly running into the "I ran out of males/females" problem then it will be harder to achieve breeding goals when you have to pause every now and then to breed out the undesirable genes from all the wanderers you're bringing in. (Ex: you find another male for you're female-only tribe...and no males are born to replace him when he dies) Of course, if you're desperate then there's really no room to complain that said savior wanderer is derpy and deformed or ill-equipped for the climate when you're on the brink of extinction and losing your island progress. I feel like there should be some line between realism and frustrating game mechanics though, where just because it's realistic doesn't mean it makes the game more enjoyable or benefits it. Not to say that this small problem makes the game unplayable and terrible or anything, but it's an annoyance that I keep running into. (sorry if this sounds mean btw, it isn't intended to be)

  46. This isn't a bad idea, but I'd rather it be optional. Like maybe have a little box that you can check to turn on or off. I imagine that it'd get pretty frustrating to have to constantly see a pop up every time you wanted to change a day.
