Well here is carrot niche saying 'Happy valentine' to everyone on the forums!

Sky slips in shiftily. She seems very suspicious as she carefully places a card in each bag. As she leaves, a evil cackling can be heard. (The card is a simple white square with these words upon it. It's not even signed, but has a nicheling skull on the bottom.)

Meringue skips in with a large pink bag labeled "LOVE" in large red letters. He distributes one of each of his valentines in each member's Valentine's bag (except for when he accidentally dumped 16 into someone's bag and didn't notice). The last bag he gets to is Sky's. He pulls out a smaller bag out of his big one, this one being labelled "LOVE !!!". He dumps the content's into Sky's Valentine's bag. 50 or so cards are dumped in. He then skips away like he was the Valentine's santa. Here's Meringue's Valentine's card (for everyone that's not his wife), made with lots of love (this is as best as he can draw, it's supposed to be of him. He used some white crayons that he found in the trash can.)

Dispite the current crisis the rest of the group agrees to head further into the heart of the island. Hopefully they won't run into any apes.

Though in the morning it is apparent that finding food won't be a problem on this island. Then suddenly Nina runs out from the water in terror. 'AHHHHH.' She screams. 'I've GROWN!' (Leo, again man? I'm not paying you for nothing)

Leo watches from the shore, kindly making sure she doesn't drown.

Nina and Leo are left on the port. Leo gets an idea. 'Hey I bet if we used that purple thing we could breath under the water and get more fish!' 'Where'd you hear that?' 'I read it.' 'Where?' 'On a rock.' 'A rock?' Nina thinks. 'How strange.' But Nina isn't one to be cautious of what her puts in her body. She leaps into the water and takes a bite a the purple blob. Not the best taste ever.

Deep in water is a strange purple blob that catches the attention of the group. The water is so clear here it's easy spot. Daisy is first to leave the port and runs into a berry bush. A good sign. Baba joins her and finds a different plant. 'I've seen these. Sun-plants is what the ancient healers would call them.' Daisy cocks her head in interest. 'Why's that?' 'They shed light on the sick, the nectar gives them hope for a longer life.'

So far they are faced with a wall of grass not much different then the previous little island. But the sound of birds in the distance and the feeling of warm sun gives them hope. Daisy sticks out her ears and listens. Apart from the birds only sound is a little scuttle-scuttle from a local crab on the beach. I'm not even gonna try to give an explanation for what Leo is doing.

Only rule is that if you decide to study another creature, you must try to mimic it and it's stats as best as possible. Try setting your life stages to their lifespans, and have them behave similarly. For example, "bearynas" raise their children to adulthood and only seek out a mate to breed with when their child is a adult. They are loners.) You go to the university of the Great Chain Studies. There, you learn and research about the various fauna and flora located on the islands in the chain. Recently, you were selected for bearyna study! You're super excited to begin the studies. RECORDING LOGS - DAY 1 Well, unfortunatly I wasn't chosen for drone duty... Only notetaking, but whatever! Nobody needs pictures! This'll be great anyways. A few years back a couple of bearyna-nichling hybrids were found. Unfortunatly, most of them disappeared, but a few generations down we now have two! The first subject is a female we've nicknamed Moo, even though her official name is #001. Very creative, I know. The male we're releasing is nicknamed O2, but his official name is #002. We'll be releasing them onto a island bearynas appear to be very common on. Well, the flight will be done in a bit, so i'll boot the recording logs back up once we've released the bearynas.

People who read Floo's, I know you know what time it is again! Time for ~puberty talk~ ! Daisy comforts Nina. Believe it or not, not long ago Daisy made her transition into womanhood as well. She doesn't know everything, but she does her best to answer all Nina's questions. She tells her of cramps and a monthly trip to the drug store, but other than that she should be fine. Nina doesn't seem completly satisfied.

I didn't know what this was caused by but I think @Lilytuft is onto something. I guess if nicheling's die in 5 days and a nicheling spawns in over 5 days it makes sense. I am sorry about your tribe btw, that sucks.

Sky’s topic gave me the idea to do the same but with my FLIES challenge on burning savanna. Try 1 The tribe lived until its 9th generation on day 20 (They reproduce extremely quickly), but I hadn’t added the win conditions so I decided to delete it. Try 2 I think I started with 2 ducks so they where useless and I deleted it. Try 3 Also started with 2 water creatures. Try 4 It lived to its 3rd generation before it ran out of females and went extinct. Try 5 A bearyena killed most of the tribe by its 4th generation, so they went extinct as only a sickly female and a teen survived. But the female died before the teen grew up.

I'm sure you'll tell us more in time. Was thinking you made their lives longer cause of the slower pace. When they live shorter you have to try and breed them pretty soon on, which I am used to from playing in storymode. I do like more time to develop story so I may end up making the lives of nichelings longer at some point but that's for after I complete storymode. Although I do also like the challenge and faster pace, and since I have 100 nichelings my turns tend to take a whole 40 minute episode, they'd never die if I increased their age lol.

I keep getting the occasional crash where it'll just end the app I couldn't tell you why though as there appears to be nothing in particular at the time when it'll just close. (Though doesn't seem to happen During minigames) Nothing gets lost and it's only occasional at the very least.

Your definitely on to something. I can't give specific age settings right now but I know teens have 10 days and I think adults have 80+. I try to make their lives as long as possible or however much I'll think they'll need, which is usually a lot.

I think the spawn age of wanderers and other nichelings should change with the sandbox settings

RECORDING LOGS - DAY 13 #002 has killed the rival bearyna. #004's baby will be born soon. #001 and #003 are traveling north, at a healthy pace with yet another bunnel killed. RECORDING LOGS - DAY 14 Our favorite mommy-daughter duo has moved to the river. Our guess is that #001 wants to teach #003 some fishing. #004's son has been born! Adorable little #005. He inherited his fathers claws, but he has a big nose and a strikingly red mane. Almost as cute as little #003. RECORDING LOGS - DAY 15 #003 bumped into a large bearyna. #001 dove to her rescue, giving the rival male a blow across the face and a swift growl. #003 copied her mum. Together they managed to kill him. I suppose fishing lessons will need to wait. #004 mated with #002 again, much to his slight confusion.

RECORDING LOGS - DAY 7 Nothing much is happening. #002 is back on the rabbil hunt. RECORDING LOGS - DAY 8 Another blue bird is above. #001 has given her daughter some more berries from a common nontoxic bush (Beric Buren) #002 seems to have scented something odd. He is still hunting. RECORDING LOGS - DAY 9 #002 has had quite a eventful day! He caught another mole and found a nest. He still seems agitated.

RECORDING LOGS - DAY 4 #001 has plonked herself right down and made a nest! She ran into a red nichling, but scared him off. #002 was chasing a rabbit, no success hunting so far. RECORDING LOGS - DAY 5 Ahhh! Baby!! #001 has had a adorable little daughter who looks almost just like her! VERY CUTE. #001 heard a bird's cry, so it seems like she is determained to stay close to her baby. She destroyed her nest. #002's wild rabbit chase led him to a yummy mole, and he finally succeded in hunting, if only by chance! So. Proud. RECORDING LOGS - DAY 6 Little #003 has started to toddle away from her mum! Too bad #001 can keep up with her. #001 stumbled across a bush, the less commen toxic variety. She made quick work of it, probably for nesting materials. #002 warded off a leech.

This reminds me of when a previous president of my country said the primary colors where red, blue, and orange or something like that.
