Hi I was recommended to come here by Jojo on Steam. I would like to suggest the option to turn off Tutorials. I also wish to suggest having more customization options for the sandbox in terms of startup. For example: If I wanted to start with beasts that have horrific genes and build my way up, or make it so that only certain resources are available. I simply wish for more challenging options for the sandbox as a whole. Thank you for inviting me, Jojo.

There was a bug that caused there to be a lot more wanderers than normal. Although I liked it, I noticed that others on the forum were not as fond of it. That got me thinking. Why not the best of both worlds? My idea is to add an extra option to the world settings. Instead of just having the option to turn entities on and off, you could click on what you want to change (ex. Wanderers) and change how common it spawns. Want to have a challenge where you have to fend off packs of bearyenas? You can do that. Want wanderers to be extremely rare? You can do that as well.

They keep drowning themselves because my tribe completely took over the island so i ended up keeping some of my nichelings posted on the edges of the island as some sort of suicide watch or lifeguard

Inspired by the volcanic island suggestion: I couldn't find anything about this which surprised me a little given how cool the raptors claws are and how much people seem to want new hindlegs. Anyhoo, this would be based off of the huge toe claws of the dromaeosaurids. They would give +2 strength and +2 speed, as they were likely quite fast and agile. If climbing was added, it could be changed to +1 speed and +1 climbing as they were probably also good climbers Related suggestions :

Here be a setting in which to role-play. In order to join, please submit a nichling, or adopt one of those found below. If your nichling may have been alive during this era feel free to allow them to visit. Setting: In a time long since passed, it is believed that the islands may have been one. Or at least two to three of the islands were interwoven. In a way not quite as helter-skelter as that of the Grass Adventure or Grass Mingle lands. Here in Ardanaia, which is what the leaders of this land call all the world, there are three sections of land. The first is Acelle. In the far north of Acelle are the mountain peaks covered in snow throughout most of the year. What no one has done as yet is found the entrance(s) to the caves which lead to a subterranean world, but if they ever did they'd need to be careful of the magma river and steam geysers. There too are some underground caverns that may be frozen as well wherein the cave walls are covered in layers upon layers of ice or permafrost. Such an icy layer has captured the horrors of a further distant past both of bones and those animals, including nichlings, frozen in time. Other Threads involved. Okay, so I am expanding my horizons, and I will now take requests for animated pixel arts. Anyone who has already submitted a nicheling to be drawn can also participate in this too. So yeah, here's an example (It's of Raana, obviously)- And, make sure to specify if you want a drawing or pixel art now. Also, if you want a pixel art please tell me how to animate it, like if you want it blinking or whatever. But that's it!

hEy I’m late to the discussion but oh well So when I was younger, I used to be a fan of Seri. She even introduced me to Niche! But all a sudden I couldn’t watch her anymore. No, I wasn’t restricted, I just got... bored. At that point of time I was more interested in her WolfQuest playthroughs, and all I remember from it was that one time she trailed off talking about how everyone hated this one wolf named Star. And after I started to play Niche myself, I lost interest in her playthroughs. I honestly don’t know if I can watch Jessimew either. Well, according to what you guys say she does seem to be highly superior to Seri, my issue is that I just get super bored watching other people’s playthroughs. But still! That’s just my take on it.

Need the ability to like this multiple times. Once is inadequate.

A minimal version of this will be in the next update. You can make sandbox settings with custom Nichelings and send the settings over to other players. No unique genes like Animal Crossing though.

I don't see a problem there for people saying it would be bad or more challenging on the island where we find rogue males we usually also find the blue bird so we have to guard our children anyway. So it wouldn't really change much. Though I still like the idea for them to be an alternate kind of rogue. Tthe rogues would not kill their own children though, would make no sense but probably make it harder to implement.

Maybe this could be turned off/on in settings (or if the Sandbox options idea gets added, it would be one of those), or maybe just something that happens on harder islands (i.e. not on Easy).

Ok sounds like a cool idea! Since rabies is a very serious disease and acts pretty fast I think it could only be cured on the 3rd day, and I'll expand the disease to only complete by day 5 ^^
