Finally finished reworking the AI 😂 Now we can spawn wild Nichelings to invite into the tribe. Wild Nichelings, Bearyenas and Rabbils now have a basic artifical intelligence. Also came accross this funny bug:

I could definitely try to recreate them! If I can manage to, I’ll post pics here! Also, I will for sure be trying this challenge again at some point, and hopefully I won’t lose my saves again. QwQ

Double Trouble (161-164 days in) Dunno what happened to 158-160 screenshots, but ah well.. Pine and Parrot were faced with a second balance bear. Quartz and Moose, meanwhile, were 2 days away from having their spawn. The tribe spread out around the balance bear. Sakura and Gourd are on the other side of the balance bear. Snowchaser is buried in snow. Silence's father is here, too. The balance bear then grabbed Gourd in its jaws and killed the small child. So young, yet so gone. White Annoying Rogue™ then bred with Sakura. She couldn't fight back. Luckily, Thornbush killed him before he could cause any more trouble. Forest found herself realizing that she was, indeed, trapped by the blizzard. Pine and Parrot began to run, but Pine was getting colder. Quartz and Moose made their seaside nest and prayed their child would be healthy. Pine froze over. Parrot would have to fend for himself. Quartz had an unhealthy child. Q: "What a waste of my time and energy. I'll name her Spring." M: "Why?" Q: "It only last a few days, before freezing. I'm getting out of here, you should too." Parrot warmed himself in a clover patch and sat with the rabbits, wondering why his mother was unmoving. Would she wake up soon? And why was that bear so aggressive? Parrot didn't realize it, but he was all alone. To fend for himself, in the frozen wasteland. Nothing to stop birds or bears from hurting him. And nobody even knew he existed.

They looked puzzled for a moment, wondering how the creature's eyes seemed to disappear. "Do you-" They paused to look around at the barren landscape. It made them feel nostalgic, though they had no idea why. "Do you know wh- where we are?" Hearing their own voice, they hated the sound of it. It was too high.

I actually got a lucky run and made it to 20 generations a while after that last post! So, this challenge is doable, but it’s a whole lot harder if you get bad genes lol.

Niche Headcanon Time! Nichelings have super efficient water filtration systems, which give them the ability to get all the hydration they need from their food. They can also drink saltwater. Nichelings with poison fangs can “retract” them by pressing the fangs against the roof of the mouth. Purr snot snout nichelings do not actually heal others with their purr. Instead, they have a natural instinct toward healing and herbs. Normal claws can retract, bearyena claws can’t. Tribes with different sandbox settings are set in alternate universes. Walrus Deer naturally live in huge herds. Any lone Walrus Deer you find are actually bucks that were kicked out when they reached sexual maturity. Gems are said to hold a nichelings soul and memories.

I was rewatching a bunch of the Danganronpa trials and realized 'wow, i actually like Leon' Anyway, Mr og murder man himself I remember seeing a post somewhere about the actual reason the murderers in Danganronpa snap during the trials us because of the ghosts of their victims haunting them or freak hallucinations of something similar and i just ran with it (Spoilers for the first game below) Leon's death sucked, it was brutal and I really don't think he deserved it. Yes, he killed someone, but it was in self defense and he obviously felt really guilty afterwards. Sayaka would have killed him if he didn't do it it first. I think most don't like him just because he killed Sayaka, to which I say-iiiiiiii dont care. I didn't like Sayaka very much, she was boring at best and annoying at worst. She was literally going to kill Leon and frame Makoto for the murder so she could get everyone killed and escape, and people still fricken defend her with their lives, I just don't get it like damn But then again, I can kinda see it from Sayaka's perspective. She literally saw a video of her best friends dead on a stage, and it obviously took a toll on her. She was paranoid and scared and was in a state where she would do absolutely anything to get back home and make sure they were okay. And as she was dying, she wrote Leon's name next to her on the wall, as what I assume was a final apology to Makoto and everyone else, so they could catch her killer and keep on living. But she was still going to murder someone and frame it on someone who trusted her and considered her his only friend there, and as a result get like, 13 people killed. That's still messed up no matter what way you look at it. man when did i get so passionate about the actions of fictional characters
