Of course, they may all look the same, but their personalities are very different. 1m - SzPD (Schizoid personality disorder) 2m - Agnosia (unable to process senses) 3m - no disability or disorder 4m - Clinical Vampirism 1f - no disability or disorder 2f - Compulsive Hoarding 3f - no disability or disorder 4f - USDD/Unspecified Dissociative Disorder (they have a system, with 40 alters) maybe we can make each gem colour a 'lineage'?? also, i accidentally bred the Oranges when i was trying to move them. uh, whoops nobody: 4f, watching the other duos scrabble to find food on whale: haha, this is about as chaotic as my headspace ((duos coloured here, for reference)) the two babbies r born, and are two females, born to Blue and Orange respectively. thus, we make the Chart; itll be handy, but niche will eventually find a way to mess it up. 1BLU-f has Chronic Fatigue 1OR-f has no disability or disorder a lonesome green baby is born. another female. an ambush!! the oranges slink by, unnoticed. theyre much too.. beautiful to get involved in such violence. while the fight takes place, 3f has a fling with a wanderer. nobody will notice, right?

I absolutely adore playing on the Killer Islands. My favorite one is Frost Lands since they offer just the right amount of challenge (Deadly Hills is too easy, Deep Jungle too hard/boring). And I especially love it when I'm down to one animal and they struggle to survive. These unfortunate souls always grown on me. The only downside is that their struggle often ends in death and then they and their legacy are dead... or are they? Today I found the solution: The last animal standing is the next starter, and so on. So far I've got 5 "Frozen Ones" and it's so much fun! Since they are all somewhat related there's some kind of a greek gods feeling to them. Here they are because I'm in love right now: Issi was the first one to awake and is therefore the strongest amongst the Frozen Ones. She froze to death, which is why her gems are blue now. During the fifth cycle she had a mate and four kids. Her mate starved himself to safe food for the others and died prematurely. She has been able to keep her kids around, although they are merely shadows, but he's gone forever. Lenmi is the grandchild of Issi, born during the first cycle. She was sickly and died when she was merely a teen, slain by a Balance Bear while she was frozen. Because of this her gems are red. She starts every cycle as a teen. Anamelen is Lenmi's grandchild from the third cycle. She died the same death as her grandmother and is the second Frozen One with red gems. Because I forgot to screenshot her genes of unknown reasons she's the only Frozen One whose genes vary every repetition. Kirtaduk is Lenmi's son from the fourth cycle. He had a lot of siblings and was the sole survivor of a famine. Because the starvation had weakened him a Balance Bear killed him. His middle gem is red, the others are pink (signifying starvation). He died while he tried to invite his brother's mate into the tribe. Privan is Issi's son, born during the fifth and so far last cycle. His mother died while she gave birth to him and he was raised by his three older siblings. He froze to death after watching his pregnant mate die. His gems are blue, just as his mother's are.

Newly forgotten spirit - A large and fluffy spirit who seems to have a poison tail and -fangs - He constantly seems to be in a gloomy and/or grieving mood, though the reasons for this are unknown even to himself - He has wings presumably but doesn't remember how to fly - His voice is deep and warm, and his personality seems to be just as warm and gentle when he isn't lost in his depression - Protector figure

So... Do nichelings have horns, or antlers? You see, antlers aren't a specific shape of horn, but an entirely different structure. Antlers actually shed off every year, and are regrown for the next breeding season and are made out of bone. While horns never fall off and are covered in keratin, and slowly grow throughout an animals life time. So by definition, nichelings actually only have horns! But what if, nichelings actually had an antler growth cycle? They would shed their antlers every 20 days or so in game, and they'll grow back within 4-6 days. They won't get the attack bonus from the antlers during this period, obviously. This feature is disabled on ram horns and can be disabled altogether in the settings if wanted credit to @Silver Kitsune for giving me the idea for this

while that happens, the Blues rejoice in the murder by having another child! it should be noted that the male did nothing in the blues. maybe only the females are supposed to be the hunters, at least for the blues? that could be interesting to explore...

As she stared into the dim glowing eyes of the nicheling, she recognized him -You! The nicheling looked startled as if he hadn't heard the voice of another nicheling in years. He probably hasn't, she realised.

She sniffed the air. A general smell of nichling reached her nose. She started to approach it. After she got through the reeds, she could see a black silhouette. It was staring right at her. But something was off.

Goldkit and Bronzekit were best friends, until Featherkit came to the clan. Goldkit spent all his time with her. Feeling hurt, Bronzekit ran away but drowned in the river. It always looks so strange when the babies come out with the horns, so I thought it would be idea if the horns would grow as they age. Newborns would have no horns, babies with 1 gem would have little stubs. Ones with 2 gems would just have a smaller version of the horns than the adults? Once they become adults their horns would be fully grown.
