  7. Wow, I love this! I can't wait to see how this will play out, and you have all my respect for writing this story. I really hope there will be some character changes in the queens, maybe a younger sister will take over after having been mistreated? Right now it totally makes sense when the two girls behave similar to their mother but I could imagine a scenario where there are more girls than needed and they aren't fully separated from the boys which leads to them developing sympathies for them? Or a wandering female taking over the tribe by manipulating the males into killing their queen? Anyway, I'm hyped.

  11. bump also, in terms of the mane, it could still be a male-only trait: the females would have no mane while the males would have a giraffe type mane instead of the regular mane. it would probably have to be a little bit longer than a real giraffe's mane though to be more noticable, giraffes have quite short manes

Just so it doesn't happen again I want to know how to make savefiles, and I might put them in a USB or something like that. Also I'm terrible with computers, like you have no idea.

  20. Yes Yes I know there are so many of these, but I made a few changes to my play to make it a bit more interesting __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ - You must always have a queen. if there is no queen the group will find the closest female relative of the queen and make them queen if said queen didn't have any daughters. - Niches can only breed 3 times. They also cannot be siblings with siblings or parents with grandparents it is likely to not make a healthy child. Queens can breed 4 times. - Start with 9 niches. (it is best to make them all new adults, but feel free to do as you please!) Choose a color, pattern, or ear as a genetic the entire tribe has. This cannot be for example: bat wings. That is something you have to mutate in later. It must be a aesthetic gene. - Edit the queen mostly. she has to start with mainly normal genes. such as normal snout, runner leg/claw/nimble fingers. You can add up to 3 recessive genes of your choice. (do not add genes such as: heat body. those are not from the tribes ancestors!) - The queen doesn't fight unless she is the most powerful at the moment and will not be harmed by what she is fighting. That includes dodomingo's (sorry if I spelt it wrong) as they attract predator's. - Do not ever take in rouges. They are not worth feeding. - A niche cannot ever breed with 2 niches unless their current mate had died. - If a queen/ queens mate is about to die, they must die in the nest the next queen will raise her nichelings in, it is respectful to those fallen. - Kill all outsiders on sight. They will only take your food. - If a female gets pregnant from a rouge male she becomes the lowest ranking female in the tribe and is unlikely for the child to not be killed shortly after birth. - The niches only live 50 days in total, 7 as a child. you may arrange the 7 days as you please. - Sick babies are also killed shortly after birth. and if parents were related and being related was the reason for the sickness, the parents either become low ranking or are killed. - A niche with more 'attractive' genes are more likely to breed and ones with less attractive genes are unlikely to breed at all. - A queen heir must have yellow eyes. all queens must have yellow eyes. it is fine if a niche that is neither queen or heir has yellow eyes. it is simply another more attractive gene. - Queens cannot be chased out. for any reason. they are the only law enforcer, the niche have no real way to make her leave. - Queens are fed first. so are heirs. and in uncertain times, also the queens current mate and or older children. (or all, but mine ended up he entire tribe was at some point, related, mostly cousins though.) - Your only goal to survive. - I suggest you add some drama such as a group of niches leaving the first and making two groups. - All 8 other niches genes and genders are randomized. the queen is obviously made female. - Tips!: Don't over populate. it creates tight bottle necks quickly later on. start on an easy island at first as most of the starter genes of all but the queen are going to be pretty bad. Have fun trying this out if you do!

  27. This is where a story is shown and you write a short story in the story about a character! It can be fan-fiction or an OC. (Sorry for taking 3 whole chapters for Blacky. I only wanted to do this recently) Chapter 1 Blacky slowly tip-toed her way through King’s Pass. She had assigned herself… something. She couldn’t quite remember. She had seen Hornet guarding the door, and that fight was intense. Blacky finally got to the door to Dirt-Mouth. The huge door towered over such a small fellow as herself. As she turned the key to theof the door, she heard. THUD! What was that? Blacky panicked for a bit before fully opening a smaller door engraved into the doors frame. Blacky walked through the door and closed it behind her. There was a large drop down to Dirt-Mouth. Luckily, she had a trick up her sleeve. Using a rope that she had got from her journey, Blacky slowly descended the cliff face. When she got the bottom, she heard footsteps approaching the door. thud thud thud Blacky hurried over to Dirt-Mouth and was surprised to see the town so desolate. Usually it was thriving with activity. What’s going on here? Last time Blacky visited this place, there were shops on every corner and bugs everywhere. CRASH! No time to think. She needed to get to Dirt-Mouth. And fast. *** Blacky saw ElderBug and walked over to him, “Hello, Blacky. It’s a surprise to see you here.” He chimed Blacky nodded “Uh, do you know where my… Um… is?” She asked. ElderBug looked thoughtfully off into the distancedistant for a moment. Then he straightened up. “No, I do not. Last I heard they was at the palace, but that place is long gone.” He explained How long have I been gone? Blacky hesitated for a moment before passing ElderBug. Chapter 2 The well was there right where she had left it. Blacky grabbed the chain and ascended down the passage. When she got to the bottom, she was surprised by howof how desolate the crossroads were. Blacky decided to go to the left, since she clearly remembered GreenPath being over there. Walking through the Crossroads was no easy task. Bugs seemly had been driven mad by the winding roads the place held. She had equipped herself with a Stone Nail on her travels, which came in handy both on her journey and here. She finally reached a safe place, though it was not GreenPath. Instead it was the Temple of the Black Egg. A rather strange looking bug with a mask stood observing the egg. “Excuse me, sir. Can you tell me how to get to Greenpath?” Blacky asked the stranger. The bug pondered for a bit, “Hmm… I don’t remember.” He seemed too busyto busy to speak to her. Then he said, “Oh! Sorry! I can get enwrapped looking at this egg. My name'snames Quirrel.” Blacky wished she had a mouth so she could smile at him, “Blacky.” She replied. “Blacky, huh? I swore I have heard that name before…” Quirrel stared at the Black Egg for a moment, before turning back to her. “So, what brings you here?” He asked Blacky shrugged, “I guess the adventure. But I do remember being here before.” She explained. Quirrel looked at the black egg once more. “Well, I feel that I’ve been here before, too.” Blacky nodded and looked up at the egg. Three faces werewhere positioned on the egg. What is it hiding…? As Blacky exited, she heard footsteps approaching from the other direction. Not knowing what to do, she hid just out of sight of the bug. As she did so, a strange looking bug appeared out of the other exit. It wore a robe like hers and it had a head that looked like a shell. And it had equipped a worn-looking nail. The bug entered the temple as Blacky made her withdrawal from the dark room and started to head east instead. *** Blacky descended the cliff side of the old mines and jumped when she heard humming. What… Who was that? For a moment all was quiet. Then the humming picked up again. Blacky steered away from the humming and an elevator waited there. As she stepped on there, a black bug came plummeting down from the top of the elevator. Blacky drew her nail when she saw cracks on its shell. She wasn’t very sure if it was a female or male and if it was even dangerous, but she knew she couldn’t take risks. For a few moments, the bug didn’t move. Blacky was sure it was in shock after the fall. Suddenly, as if by magic, the bug sprang to life. When it turned to see Blacky, she lunged at it, breaking of one of its shell antennae. It staggered back. Just then, the lift had reached the top level, and at that moment the bug tried to escape. Blacky followed it until they reached ‘the crumbing entrance’. The place belowbellow gave her nightmares. Nightmares about your whole body turning into crystal. Her friend used to loveloved crystals. Maybe more than she liked Blacky. Her friend hadfriendhad told her countless times that a diamond could never replace their best friend. Blacky doubted this, especially because (even though she had told her friend that she hated them) every birthday, without fail, Blacky would get a gemstone or a crystal. Her least favourites were, and are not limited to; Amethyst, Diamond, Topaz, Emerald, Lapis and much more! The thought of entering that pace made her shiver. Blacky took a step back. The other bug did the same. Blacky looked down at the entrance. It seemed unstable. Blacky tightened her grip on her nail. “So, are you scared of the place belowbellow us?” Blacky tried to talk to the bug in a non-threating way. The bug nodded. So, it can understand me. Good. Blacky took a single step forward. The sound of the crumbling however made her jump back. The other bug stepped forward, like it wasn’t fully scared of Blacky. “Get away!” She hissed, quickly drawing her nail. For a moment, the bug did as it was told. Then… The bug flew past Blacky like lightning. Must have been too harsh on it. She thought. Then, she remembered something When Blacky was a little bug, she would explore around the king’s palace. She often teased the Kingsmolds and poked them, but rarely did they budge. One day she found something strange. Blacky was walking through the palace and ended up at a place she called “The Abyss”, when the king found her, however, he placed her outside the door and locked it tight. But while she was there, she had strangestrnge feeling about the place. She followed the bug and found it was on the second floor. Blacky got to have a better look at it. Its eyes look full of fear despite the eyes in question seeming almost hollow. “What are you scared of, buddy?” Blacky asked. It slowly became less scared and showed her a jar containing a fiery orange substance. It gave Blacky the jar and expressed through sign language that it took over people’s minds. Once Blacky understood at least half of the story, she asked; “Are you scared of that happening to you?” The bug nodded slowly. “Well” She exclaimed after about a minute’s silence. “I think I know a place.” *** Blacky jumped down the well once more and staggered over to the left. She had just helped the bug set up a home in Dirt-Mouth. It looked happy as it set the house up with rocks and lore tablets that Blacky personally had not seen before. The bug even carved down a smiley face on a piecepeice of rock. She trottedtrodded over to the east. When she went back up to Dirt-Mouth, She found that two other bugs had moved in. Blacky con’t remember their names but they seemed like nice people. She tracked down the beaten path untiluntill she found a place that looked a lot like Greenpath. In front of her was a large armadillo like bug sprting out the mind controlly orange stuff. Blacky charged at it silently, stabbing it straight in it heart. It wailed out a ear spliting screech, luckly, Blacky didn’t have ears. With the path finally opened up, she could continue on her way. Chapter 3 I know it’s called ‘Greenpath’, but how is it green in the firstfrist place? Questiuoned Blacky in her head. She jumped down a little ledgeleage and swiped at a lone husk whowhom was charging towards her. She walked down that lone path and saw a bug in a redish version of Blacky’s robe. She pulled out her nail as the bug jumped back onto a further ledgeleage. Blacky put her nail away and whent the opposite deretion. She nearly got to a lake filled with acidasid when disturbancedestubence and worry filled the air. She whipped around, pulling out her nail and pointing it at the newcomer. To her surprisesuprise, it was the bug that went in the black egg temple earlier. She stoodstoud in a ready position. Then she realizedrelised it was the bug following her all the way back in Kings Pass. “Why did you come here?” She hissed, “Why are you stalking me? What are you, Satan?” The bug didn’t respond. It just stared at Blacky with black, hollowed eyes. It had the same robe as her and the bug from earlier, but it was a desatraed version of Blacky’s robe. It seemed even more hollow that the other weirdo that she bumped into earlier. At least that guy tried to talk to her, or they responded at the least. Not this idiot. “Answer me, god damn it!” She hissed again. The bug seemed unfased. Blacky sighed, “How do I get through to you?...” Then a thought popped into her head. “How about a duel, freak?” She growled, “If you win, I’ll let you pass through. But if I win, you die.” That seemed to click the bug into action. It lunged at her suddenly, knocking her off her feet. Blacky stabbed the bug in the shell with her nail, it spun back and charged again. Blacky, however, was prepared for this attack. She dodgeddogded it, but coped another blow to the back of her head. She turned around and struck the bug once again. This time it spewedspuwed out some black stuff and got back on up again. What are you…? She thought They looked similarsimiliar to the bug she fought only an houra hour or so ago, but more… dDead. Blacky waasn’t sure that was a good way to describe the bug, but it sorta made sense. It looks kinda like a zombie… At that moment, the bug ramed into her, nocking Blacky to the ground. “WHAT IS YOUR DEAL?” She hissed. The bug didn’t respond. The bug instead rose and shot at her, charging at full force. Blacky held out her nail so the bug would run into it. Surely this bug isn’t that stupid? She was right. That bug ran away from the nail and hit her with full force. Not seeing or hearing this, Blacky tumbled forward. Blacky got up to shake the moss and dirt of her robe. “I can’t win this…” She murmuredmurmered to herself Blacky ran to the west, jumping up on any legdes she could step on easily. And she took off. Chapter 4 Clover ran over to the gorge where all the water ran off into the far reachesreachs of the distant mountainsmountins. He looked behind him to see Smoke waddling on over to him. “Here” He said, “Take a seat right there.” Smoke plopped himself down and drew closer to Clover as they both stared off into the distant plains. Smoke clutched ontoon to Clovers arm. “Are you scared?” Clover asked Smoke. The moth nodded. “Me too.” Clover replied to the simple gesturegester. He stoodstoud up, holding Smoke’s hand tightly, and strolled over to the town that stoodstoud so lonely in a place like this. While Smoke explored the faded town, Clover decideddesided to talk to the only local. “Hello!” Clover said, trying his best not to sound scared. “My name is Clover and that guy over there-” He pointed to Smoke, “Is my son Smoke!” The bug looked at him with a solemnsolum expressionexpresstion. “Oh. Well, my name is Elderbug.” The sad-looking bug replied, “How the mantis tribe?” This stoppedstoped Clover dead in his tracks. In realityrealatiy, he had not been there in a while. He had no intention of going there, of coursecoruse, and he would rather just explore Hallow Nest without going to that part. Even with all of that, Clover knew that he wantedwanteed to do a good firstfrist impressionimpresstion on this bug. “Good” He lied. It was so ovulusly a lie, but Elderbug was ether stupid or deaf because he bought into it. “Cool” Elderbug replied. Nobody spoke for a few moments. Out of the corner of his eye, Clover saw Smoke waving at him. “Umm… I gotta split.” Clover insisted, racing over to Smoke. “But I want to know the full story with the mantis tribe!” Feel free to add your chapters! 35. A few Day's passed after the death of Iris. Amalita and Kaoth began to explore more of the island. Making the Area around the nest Kaoth found their home. "Ok we should clear out more of this area, and..", Amalita began before Kaoth interrupted her. "Do, do, you hear that?", Kaoth asked. Her big ears perked and her fluffy tail bristled. "No, Kaoth calm down what could you possible hear.", Amalita rolled her eye's tearing down the grass in front of her. "Na,na,no I really heard something.", Koath uttered again her sister not even listening. Suddenly the grasses in font of them began to rustle. Kaoth could see something spiky and orange poking through. "Ama,ama,Amalita, Look, look, over there!", Kaoth screeched drawing her tail over her body. Amalita jumped head first into the grasses only to find a prickly being behind them. "Ow, wha, Who are you?", Amalita asked. Kaoth moved and unveiled herself looking at the nicheling that sat before them. He was an older male with bright orange fur. "Orvet, my name's Orvet.", He responded. "Nice to meet you, I'm Amalita and this is my younger sister, Kaoth.",Amalita exclaimed a smile on her face. Kaoth mustered a small grin, she didn't like Orvet, not in the slightest. "You guy's wouldn't mind if I stick around a little would ya?", Orvet asked. "Of Course not!",Amalita responded before Kaoth could even open her mouth. When Orvet became an official member of their little tribe Kaoth noticed Amalita behavior changed. Even so she was shocked when she found out they had become mates. "Wha, Why did you be, become mates with him.", Koath sneered. "Nothing's wrong with him, it's not my problem you don't like him!", Amalita hissed. Turning away from her sister. Orvet, none the wiser, sat there cocking his head. Kaoth dashed off into the grasses, she didn't know why she didn't like Orvet, but she didn't. Amalita can be mates with him if she wishes. Off Kaoth went to explore the land, and get away from her sister. Koath pushed through the weed and stray grasses until Orvet and Amalita were out of sight. With her fur ruffled from the argument with her sister she shook herself. Then lay slap in front of her a, a . .. "Wha,wha, what is this?", Koath mumbled to herself. Circling the orange . . . fruit? No use for it now, and no interest in eating it Kaoth laid down. She wasn't going to sleep anywhere near that . .. creature. She curled up into a tight little ball with her tail on the tip of her muzzle. "I'll show my sister that, I don't need them, and won't stand for her and Orvet to be together, yeah, she'll see.", Kaoth thought to herself closing her eye's. One night and a morning passed and Kaoth still wasn't anywhere to be seen. Amalita would be lying to herself to if she said she wasn't worried about her sister. She couldn't understand why she was upset. Orvet did nothing wrong, did she not like the fact that she had someone else. Amalita understood quickly why Kaoth was upset. She wanted to go find her but she had something new to deal with. Amalita had given birth to her first son. "How about we name him, Theron.",Amalita suggested. "I'm fine with that.",Orvet responded. Looking at Theron she remembered what her mother had told her. Now she must find the right time to tell him what his duty was. For now though, while he's small she will just think... plot, exactly what she want's to happen. Kaoth stared at the strange fruit all day. It was boring to say the least, she didn't want to go back yet, but the longer she sat their the more she asked herself, "Why am I upset?" . She heard a sudden rustle in the grass, not afraid she stood up. Come out already, she sniffed the air. The sent was sharp, and frankly, disgusting. She felt suddenly uneased, it was just a wanderer . . . right? Kaoth didn't want to risk the chance it could be someone else and ran through the grasses until she was back in the clearing with her sister and Orvet. "I'm sorry for leaving I just didn't want you to pay all your attention to Orvet!", Koath blurted out. "It's okay Kaoth, just don't leave again. You are also an aunt now.", Amalita beckoned Kaoth over. "His name is Theron", she added. Soon after Kaoth return Orvet and Amalita decided to have another child, their first daughter. "Her shall be.... Sirl, that Iris spelled backward. After me and Koath's mother.", Amalita explained. Though Orvet didn't seem to care. "I get to name the next one, got it!", Orvet laughed nuzzling Amalita. "Theron, come here, I'm going to tell you a story, a very interesting story.", Amalita's voice went low trying not to alert Orvet attention. "What's the story, I'm ready to listen.", Theron gleamed. I'm going to try and upload one of this everyday, don't quote me on that But I'll try. Still have some more screen shots to make into another update.

  38. Part Six, Day Fifteen—Queen Chenthya Morning finally came, and there below my feet...was a baby girl! "An heiress!" I exclaimed. Adam came rushing over. "No, don't touch her. You get to raise the sons, and I raise my daughter—Rahzere, as I will name her—alright?" Adam looked sad, but nodded and went back to the boys, whom he began to teach to pick berries. I isolated myself and my daughter from the males for the next few days. I taught her to be a Queen, for when I would pass the crown onto her. I told her how to keep the males in line, how to greet wanderers in a way that makes them want to stay. When Rahzere became a teen, I came back to Adam, who was plucking berries with Niit, while the other two sons chased after rabbils. As soon as Adam saw me, he rushed over and nuzzled me. "My Queen! I have taken care of our sons as well as I could in your absence!" He also nuzzled Rahzere, who bristled at all of this 'affection.' I quickly whispered to my daughter, "No. Affection must be allowed, or the male will not want you as his mate, and you will have to use force." Rahzere flattened her fur down without a word. For some strange reason, she rarely spoke. I turned back to Adam, who was, as he had done days before, gazing at me lovingly. Fool. "Adam, dear." His ears perked up. "It is time for more children. Though we have an heir, it is good to have more sla—I mean, Queendomers." Adam's eyes shone. "Of course, my Queen!"
