  3. Rosie attacks first, clawing at the bearyena's feet. 'Back you furry beast!' She screams. Then Glacier pokes it behind with his long horns. (I'm trying to make it sound innocent, so when I says poke, it's more like stab.)

  4. Rosie is now pregnant! Yay! 🎉 She picks out the perfect spot behind the tree, in the shade. This way it's not to far from the beach, but not too close to pose a threat.

  12. "Hey." Rain craned her head, watching as Abandon trotted up to her. The female stopped next to her, gingerly sitting down and curling her fluffy tail over her paws. She looked...strangely uncomfortable. "Hey, how are you? Did you need something?" Abandon shook her head. "No, I just...wanted some company." Rain nodded, smiling as she picked a few more berries. She felt a little weird as Abandon watched her, eyes burning holes through her pelt. "Hey, um..." Rain started, lifting her head and staring hesitantly at the female next to her. "Why are you named Abandon?" Abandon flinched, curling her tail tighter around herself, as if it would shield her. "My-my father left just before I was born, he took my brother Firtu with him. Nobody knows where he went, but apparently it's not a surprise he took Firtu. I guess he was always the favorite-from what Pidge has told me anyways." Things were quiet for a heartbeat, before Rain opened her mouth to respond-just then, she heard something that made her shut up. "Equi oq Bekatu tere psēk uyet iop?" Rain looked over her shoulder, staring at the tree in the center of the camp. Aymi and Pidge were sat under it, Aymi casually cracking open acorns as Pidge grew frustrated, trying to gnaw one open with her fangs. She assumed the annoyed sounding words came from her. But-what the hell were they saying? The only word she recognized was 'Bekatu'... "As juke kidn, Pidge. Zuek yust terne wei." The response came from Aymi, who said it in a deadpan-ish tone, barely glancing at Pidge, who glared at her, obviously offended by whatever she said. Noticing Rain's massive confusion, Abandon chuckled. "Oh, yeah, about that. That's are language, we speak to eachother like that most of the time. You'll have to learn it, I suppose." Rain sighed. "I have trouble keeping my own name in my head, how am I supposed to learn a whole new language?" "You'll get it down. I could teach you some now actually-come and sit, Rain. It's time for your first lesson in Fyānsian." (if anyone's wondering-yes, i made an entire Niche language, it took forever, but i made it)

It's probably been forever since he last washed it.' The three are relieved. 'So, now we stay here until the coast is clear?' Floo speaks again. 'It's the best we can do,' Rosie replies.

  22. Hi SurrealSnapple. I downloaded your drone and let it compete in the vs race tournament. You built a very clever, interesting and capable drone. Congratulations! About GIFs. We're not yet sure if we will leave the grappling hook this way in the versus modes, because it might be too strong against all other older drones (and it's hard for beginners to counter). For that reason we're currently a bit hesitant about showing of this part (for versus mode) on social media (except for "please test this feature calls") I'll recommend this drone to @Roger, who's responsible for Nimbatus social media. About not connecting to Steam. This sounds strange. Micha knows best, but he's currently on vacation Does this only occur in the Preview Branch or also in the normal public branch? Do you start Nimbatus via the Steam Client or a shortcut on the desktop? Did you check that you did not set Steam to "Offline Mode"? I hope we can fix this issue for you soon.

  23. Melen looked down at the dead nichelings, trying to understand what happened. “Prisponen and Extra Raw Toast.. They went in the same direction.. But something happened?” “Prisponen died first.. Toast should be alive.. But.. His head is ripped clean off..” “So there was a third nicheling?” “Yeah…” Melen jumped when Thorne yelled for her to look behind her. Melen spun around, and was suddenly face-to-face with Pretich. Pretich had dried tears on her face, and had a pleading look in her eyes. “You.. You’re one of them.. You were screaming.” “What? No- But Melen, I need your help. Somethings wrong with Autumn.” “Autumn..?” Melen glanced back at Thorne, who was sitting patiently. Kinda like a loyal sidekick. She then turned back to Pretich. “Who’s Autumn?” “Autumn’s my child, but- She won’t wake up. Melen, she’s grown up in her sleep! She hasn’t woken up!” She was starting to panic. “Calm down- Just let me see her.” “No- No- Aspen’s bringing her over here. If you go over there then the others are going to distract you.” “Just- Be careful please. There could be something very wrong with her.” Pretich turned and ran. Probably to go get the other two. “So it’s that simple, huh?” Melen turned her head, giving Thorne a confused stare. “You just.. Find them and heal them? Then what? Did the screaming just suddenly stop?” “I.. I just stopped paying attention. I already found them, why would I need to listen for more?” “Whatever.” He sighed and looked past her. Aspen was carrying Autumn by the scruff. Even if they were both fully grown, she quite a bit smaller than him. She did look kinda heavy though. Melen looked over, then rushed to have them set her down. She immediately got to work on figuring out what was wrong and getting it fixed.

  24. "Catch!" Cherry tossed down another acorn, watching as Wisteria caught in in her paws and cracked it open. Cream lay a few feet away, breathing softly with moss pressed against the wound on her head. She seemed strangely serene for the condition she was in, although that was probably because she was asleep. She hadn't woken up in a few days. "What even happened?" Wisteria looked up at Cherry, raising an eyebrow as she gestured to Cream. Cherry shrugged, tossing down another acorn. "Dunno, I think Meara said she hit her head on a rock? Not surprised, she's never been very bright."

  25. Cream sat idly by the river, keeping an eye on the baby. She turned around, hearing a familiar clicking sound. She leaned over the ledge, peering down into the sand and letting out a small gasp. A crabbit stared back at her, its claws pinching the air. "I had a friend like you back at home!" Cream nearly squealed, flopping down into the sand in front of the crabbit. The creature merely stared at her with it's beady eyes, ignoring Cream's soft giggles as she smiled at it. "It's okay, my last friend wasn't very talkative either!"

  26. Almost as soon as the three got down to the shore, it started raining. Lemonzest and Wisteria didn't mind much, the latter simply diving into the ocean like her life depended on it. Lemonzest and Syrup walked down the shore, Lemonzest picking up any clams they passed upon and Syrup snagging any fish that darted past him. It was strangely calm, although Syrup had never been a big fan of the rain, it helped him sort out his thoughts at the moment. "Hey um, do you mind if we sit down for a minute? I just...wanna relax in the rain, it's always felt nice..." "Sure." Syrup smiled, settling down next to the yellow nicheling. Lemonzest closed his eyes, sucking in a deep breath as he basked in the cold water hitting his fur. The silence felt nice, but something was bothering Syrup. "Hey uh, Lemonzest-that's your name, right?-mind if I ask something?" Lemonzest nodded, only sparing him a glance before closing his eyes again. "When we all woke up, you were calling out for someone-Idola? Was that it?" The yellow male's eyes snapped open, and he stared at Syrup for a moment, before dropping his gaze and giving a strained smile. "Oh, Idola is my daughter. I'm just...scared for her. She could very well be alone right now, my tribe didn't exactly know about her." "What about her mother? I'm assuming that she at least knows." At those words, Lemonzest stiffened, looking away. He smiled at the sand, but Syrup could tell it was fake. "Her mother...does know, but she-...doesn't really care. She never even wanted Idola, she only...wanted to move on I guess. Hell, she never even loved me." Syrup stared in shock at the other male, watching as he wiped a stray tear from his face. His eyes were still intently locked on the sand. "I-I always loved her. I don't care that she hated me, and called me stupid and annoying, and told me that I should just die already-I...I loved her so much, and I still do, and I can't stop-" Silence fell between the two as Lemonzest cut off, Syrup watching with wide eyes as he started sobbing uncontrollably. The yellow nicheling dug the claws on his left paw into the flesh on his head, and Syrup could see tiny beads of blood roll down his fur. He didn't do anything for a few heartbeats. Then he reached out his paws, gently pulling Lemonzest's paw away from his head and holding it between his own two paws. Lemonzest looked up, staring into his eyes. Syrup smiled. "It's alright to love someone, even...if they hurt you. You just have to acknowledge their faults and recognize that not everything is on you. Some people are just, mean-spirited. Just know that if someone really hurts you bad, then maybe they don't deserve your sympathy or love. She chose to be a horrible person and mother, not you. Don't put yourself down over it, okay? I can tell you've been lonely for a lot of your life, Lemonzest. Just know that won't be the case anymore." Lemonzest didn't say a word, and Syrup started wondering if he said something wrong. That was, until he broke out into a genuine smile, lurching forward and wrapping Syrup in a hug. Startled, Syrup stiffened for a moment, before returning the gesture. The two sat like that for a good while, forgetting all about their task.

  29. Some time later, Klyk is born. Feather is greatly pleased, staring at his son with a fondness that nobody had ever seen on him before. Peril is unimpressed, simply giving her child a glance before locking her eyes on Tuyo, who is sadly staring at the new family. She smiles at him. Clover passes suddenly. She just, dropped. Her only company being Aymi. The tribe grieved heavily for their lost matriarch. Abandon wasn't the same afterwards. Pidge informed everyone that she was pregnant. Unfortunately. Tuyo didn't seem to care. "Dammit!" Rain flinched, opening her eyes to see that Abandon had accidently let a fish slip from her claws again. "You okay?" She asked gently, stretching out on the sand. The other female closed her eyes, letting out an aggravated sigh. "I can't focus..." Rain stood up, stepping down onto the shore so that her paws were just barely under the water. "Need help?" "No, no, I've got it. I've got it..." Abandon stared as a fish passed by, before striking out her claws again. All that accomplished was her falling face first into the deeper water. "FEIVET!" She screamed in rage, popping back up and lashing at a rock in fury. Rain stared, eyes wide. "I don't even understand that word, so I'm going to assume that it's a swear so bad that you would rather not teach me it." Abandon was breathing heavily, standing stock-still for a few heartbeats, before flopping down on the sand next to Rain. She sighed, digging her claws into the ground. "Feel like talking about it?" The blue nicheling asked, sitting down next to her friend. "I..." Abandon started, sounding hesitant. She stared into the water. "I...I miss her. I miss mom. So much." Rain felt a pang of sympathy hit her. She missed her mother too, even if she couldn't really remember her. It must be hard for Abandon. "First my father left, and now mom is dead...she was all I had left of my immediate family-Pidge doesn't count, she doesn't even like me-I have my half siblings, but...mom was special. She was such a good nichelings. How am I supposed to live without her here with me?" Abandon didn't even realize she was crying, only noticing that her voice started to break at the end. "I may not completely get how you feel, but, Abandon...just...just know that she's okay. You'll see her again someday. And in the meantime, you'll have to make due with memories. She's not gone as long as you remember her." "And, Abandon..." The other female finally looked up, eyes glittering. "Yeah?" "I'm here if you ever need me. I'll be here forever, okay? Just talk to me." The two were silent for a moment, Abandon staring at Rain, who was getting anxious that she said something wrong. Then, Abandon snorted, chuckling as a smile broke out on her face. "Damn, that was cheesy as hell, Rain!" She cackled, wiping a tear from her eye. Rain couldn't help but laugh too. "Yeah, I'm aware." As they both laughed wholeheartedly, Rain couldn't help but notice that her pelt was growing a little warmer.

  30. After teaching Rain some of the new language, Abandon realized she has to go gather food. She offers to teach Rain how to fish. "No thanks, I'll just watch." Abandon shrugged, diving after a school of minnows. The water was making Rain nervous, but for the life of her, she couldn't figure out why... After gathering some food, many of the tribe members gathered to converse under the tree. It felt nice, just talking. Rain lay next to Abandon, still wary of the others. They seemed nice enough-well, asides from Pidge... "Your tribe is kinda small, why is that?" Everyone went silent, staring at the bird nicheling like she had grown a second head. Rain shrunk back, cringing as she pressed against Abandon. "The world is cruel, our tribe used to be a lot bigger." Serenity finally answered from her spot next to Falcon. "Our parents all died of natural causes, and our mother should be following suit soon. It's a miracle she's still here." Rain blinked. "Didn't you have any siblings?" At that, Feather noticably stiffened, staring at the ground with a scowl. "Yeah. We did. My brother Pipenburn didn't last long, unfortunately." Feather shrugged like t was no big deal, but Rain could see the immense pain behind his eyes. "I have two." Aymi spoke up. "Serenity is my sister, we had an older brother, Walnut. He...was reckless." She didn't say anymore, shifting the top of an acorn around with one paw. Serenity was also quiet, looking at the sky. "I also have two..." Abandon said, looking down at Rain. Pidge scoffed. "Yeah, unfortunately. We have the same father, and we had a brother too. Our scummy father took him when he left the tribe." Rain could sense this was a sore spot for everyone, even Tuyo and Peril, who were orginally wanderers. "Did...you all have different fathers?" Feather nodded. "Mine was less of a father and more of a...sire, I suppose? Her name was Lyra. I guess she used some sort of goddess magic or whatever so I could exist." "Our father was Angel. He was quite sweet, although I didn't know him long." Serenity got up and sat next to Aymi, resting her tail on her sister's back. "And ours was Snowy Blood." Pidge scoffed, not noticing the look Abandon shot her. "Some father he was." "Wow...I-I'm sorry..." Abandon shook her head. "Don't be, it was all a long time ago, Rain." "So, who are your parents?" Tuyo finally spoke, glancing at Peril. Rain froze, looking at the ground. "I...I don't know." "You don't know?" Peril sounded mildly shocked, fur bristling. "I remember some things...like...my mother had black fur and white horns...my father had violet eyes and ram horns...but, I can't figure out any names. I don't even remember what tribe I came from." Everyone was quiet after that, nobody spoke a word, even as night fell and they rested.

  32. "So, your name is Rain, correct?" Rain blinked, just now snapping back to reality. Her thoughts had drifted off again, they seemed to be doing that a lot since she woke up. She silently nodded her head, straightening up as her eyes locked with those of the aged female before her. The old, yet elegant nicheling smiled, holding out her paw. "I am Clover, the tribe leader. I am happy to have you here, Rain." "And...I'm not exactly happy to be here-not in a rude way! I'm just...confused?" Clover let out a purr, eyes soft and sympathetic. "I understand. It must be frightening to wake up in a strange place, with no memory of who you were before. I would like to assure you that there is a place in our tribe for you, if you would like to join us?" Rain nodded, not even noticing that her brain was drawing a blank again. Nothing seemed real in that moment of silence.

How much i could tell you about my other dreams... like the one where I was a guy and murdered my grandma with a vacuum while my servants creepily vacuumed up a cat, and then i ran outside and swung from trees and rooftops for a long time until I finally woke up, shivering with fear. Like it was actually happening and I was scared that i was going to be caught. That was a bad dream.
