  1. Speaking of those two: they were originally going to be a single nicheling named 'Hawkmoth', a nicheling that had no choice but to bend to his father's will, and tried to become good for his own sake and the sake of those around him, but came to find out that against his will, his soul was too coruppted by Birch, and he couldnt move past how he was brainwahsed to behave but i split him into two nichelings, each taking a different part of Hawkmoth as their role y'know, just a funfact

  2. Just a day later, the plan was set into motion. The night was cold, but they specifically waited for rain to do this. The thunder would drown out any sounds they made. Pesket was at the front, ears peeled back to keep his hearing safe from the horribly loud rain. His fur was soaked, and the cold seeped into his bones, but he slipped towards the river anyway. Birch's island was a mere few meters away, just across the water. This was it. Alae shook violently, being most affected by the cold. Vezula walked next to her, insisting that she should stay behind. "Hell no. I'm doing this." "Just up ahead!" Pesket called out as quietly as he could, looking behind him to make sure everyone was present. Even Thistle has come along, wanting to take revenge for the very thing that started this. The death of her sister. Just as they inched towards the river, someone cried out, and everyone's gazes snapped towards the noise. The dark shape of a nicheling was grasping Vezula towards him, holding her close with a claw on her throat. "Don't even think about stepping into that river." Suddenly, Algae's eyes widened, and she let out something akin to a sob. "Hawk? Why are you doing this?" As Pesket narrowed his eyes, he saw that it was in fact, Hawk. The male just chuckled darkly, pressing his claw closer towards his sister's throat. "You're not laying a paw on my father." Vezula let out a whimper, and a couple nichelings nearly ripped off his fur then and there. Algae was frozen, not knowing what to do. She couldn't hurt her child, but if she didnt, her other child would get hurt. Or worse. "H-how did you even know we were doing this?" "A little bird told me." Hawk purred. "Isnt that right?" He said quietly, smirking as he glanced behind him. Then, someone slipped out of a clump of grass. "I KNEW IT!" Raincloud screeched, launching herself towards Moth. "YOU DIRTY, GOOD FOR NOTHING-" Zephyr leapt forward, holding back her daughter as she kept spitting curses and profanities, screeching at the top of her lungs. Moth simply looked away, his fur bristling and an almost remorseful look on his face. "My dear brother told me everything, and Im oh so proud he did. I probably wouldnt have ever found out about this otherwise." Hawk quipped, seeming almost like he was putting emphasis on his brother's actions. "Now, how about to back away-" Before his sentence could be finished, Hawk fell to the ground, screaming. Vezula to the chance to wriggle away, bolting towards her mother in the crowd. Hawk shakily stood up, pressing a paw to the sudden wound that was gashed into his shoulder. "What-" Then, he was on the ground again, covering his eye with his paw and thrashing under something. Hesitantly, he wiped the blood away from his eye, growling up at whatever had pinned him. His eyes blew wide. "No..." His breathing grew heavy. "You're dead..."

  4. Gathered down at the ports they arrived on, the majority of the tribe were huddled together, wary of being caught. "This can't go on any longer." Startled, many looked to the voice, more than surprised to see that Pesket of all nichelings had called this meeting. "Birch has to go. He's a horrible, cruel leader. I think we can all agree on that." Many nodded in agreement, a few words being mumbled between nichelings. The only one who didnt move a muscle was Twig, who lay by the water, staring blankly as fish swam by. Robin sat next to him, trying to comfort his brother while simultaneously focusing his attention on Pesket. A growl rose from the crowd, and Raincloud's lashing tail smacked several nichelings as she pushed through the crowd. "His wretched brat murdered by brother!" The female snarled, her fur bristling as rage started to overtake her. Twig noticibly stiffened at the mention of Termite, his eyes starting to water. Robin ran his tail soothingly down his brother's back, shooting Raincloud a look. Algae was visibly nervous, shuffling her paws and glancing back at her every 5 seconds, paranoid that Birch would find them. She looked to her daughter, making sure she was still there. "Moth? He didnt mean to do it, he's just a child." Raincloud scoffed. "Oh really? Then why isnt he here?" "Birch doesnt let the boys out of his sight for long, I would never be able to get them here without him noticing. It was hard enough to sneak out Vezula." Pesket raised his head, silence falling over the crowd. His eyes hardened, and a snarl echoed in his throat. "Its settled. Birch is going down." As much as everyone agreed, something was unknown to them. Somebody was listening in.

  6. I saw someone on Youtube mentioning that certain elements in Nimbatus are very hard to see and understand if you are colorblind. We don't have someone with that in our development team, so need the help of the community to resolve this issue. If you have a certain color sensibility: Can you point out what part / feature is hard to understand? We would love to have a growing list of such issues, so that we can fix it when we have time or prevent it from the start when we create new content. If you have an issue, it would be very helpful if you could provide a screenshot and point out the problems. Disclaimer: Currently until the early-access release we don't have time focusing on this issue, as we revamp the gameplay & progression system in the game. This is something we might only can address later during the early-access phase, maybe close to the full-launch when we begin fixing and polishing the game (and the gameplay is relative fixed). Still: This is an important issue and the more information we can gather until that time the easier it is for us to implement and fix it. Thank you for your support Problematic parts known so far: Resource: Depending on the sensibility, the 1st (Yellow) and 3rd resource (Blue) are hard to differentiate. Things we might change in the game, if we have time: Add different textures/structures to resources, so they are easier to differentiate Add unique icons to each biome on the worldmap, so they are easier to differentiate

  9. It’s a pretty cool dinosaur simulator game. It’s not released yet, but you can pay $20 to get it on mobile and PC, at least for the demos and full release. If you have mobile, though, you can get the Character Customization and Map Exploration demos for free.

  11. Minor Goddess Rea, Goddess of nature and appreciation Female Focused, Calm, Collected. As the daughter of Rela, she was expected to kill. And kill she did! Until her mother died and she was the only one left... She then looked around at the Savannah, deciding this was not the place for her. She left to a lush, grassy island and found how amazing nature was. She became calm, focused, and appreciated all the things around her. She died in a peaceful way and the gods accepted her and let her go back whenever she wanted. If any rabils come close to your tribe and don't care about them, its said to be Rea, back again to admire nature. She also can come back as a barena (or defender bare if they come back again) if you are not appreciative of the environment around you and kill and destroy like her mother did. (sorry that one was so long even though she's a minor goddess! Some of this story is actually true, though!) Other things- Her TS (theme song) is Colors of the Wind!

  15. Hi @Deathman In racing we have two modes, autonomous and manual. If you play autonomous, we block all user-input, so you have to build fully autonomous drones (with sensors and logic parts) to compete in the rankings. If you play in manual mode, then you should be able to control your drone like you are used to in the man game I hope it's just this. If not, let me know, so maybe you found a bug

  16. Currently most of the time trials are on closed circuits but we only get to do one lap. I'd love to see a two or three lap option so that we can make drones for endurance races and not just a sprint to the finish.

  24. Hi, its great you can set an alternative target on vtols / direction sensors but the would be much mure useable if there was an input to switch to the alternate target and back - so one direction sensor could have the mission objective as primary and the container as secondary objective and allow you to switch between em. greetings, Tobs

  37. I dunno just came to mind. So The nesting fern would look sorta like this. with the improvements I mentioned there. The hiding fern would give camouflage to nichelings in it. They would also hide completely from rouge males with enough base camo on the nichelings.(maybe a dumb idea, might delete) You can't nest in them, but they will sometimes appear with perma-nests in them. (may change to be able to nest in them) The huge leaves would hide whatever nicheling was inside from predators and bluebirds. (if the nicheling is a child.) When the nicheling is inside, it was curl up like a meat-eating plant, protecting the nicheling. (probably with one leave open just to be able to see the nicheling. You can attack this, destroying it. It will not grow back like a berry bush, but will give 5 or 6 nesting material if broken. It would be found in grasslands, jungles, grassy parts of snow biomes, whale island, and home island. IMPROVEMENTS SUGGESTED BY OTHER PEOPLE: @LonelyPerson I like your idea 😃! I think ten nesting material is a little too much, tho. I would say about 5-6 is a good amount @A A A A A A I didn't color this neatly but I drew what I think the ferns would look like

  39. Spitting is something I wanted to add since FOREVER. Some of you might still remember that the Derp Snout used to be called Spit Snout, the reason being that we wanted to give it spitting ability It would be able to spit at Rabills and other small prey, which would glue them to the ground for a day. Take my upvote!
