  1. Cant miss the chance to show off my nichelings and go on a tangent in my head about why they're the best! /j/j/j starting off with-..uh yeah i dont have an excuse for this guy's name And his (I think) second cousin, Magina, a really pretty nicheling who's basically become a spirit of wildlife Her father was some random guy that I didn't have enough food to invite in (and, weirdly enough, looked a lot like one of my friend's nichelings), so I just bred one of my females with him before he disappeared and the result was Magina. I'm guessing that wanderer guy had some kind of secret he was keeping, considering Magina's abilities These next few are just nichelings from OBBACL that I really like- if i shoved every nicheling i liked into this post we would be here all day, so I'm gonna stop there for now-

  6. actually the rose outline and background look pretty good, only problem's that they'd look TERRIBLE on my yellow waterbottle I just noticed all the gems have the middle one higher than the rest and that makes me uncomfortable. and the spiky bodied nicheling has a tail

  7. Omg these are awesome! I really like the green ones because I think it matches the gems but the rose outline is a close second

  8. I definitely like the green background. The outline is harder; green looks better, but white is most common and goes with other colors better when you put them on colorful things though some white/light gray details (like the snow and whiskers) are hard to see. no Meringue stickers huh? one day...one day...

  9. Hey folks As you might know, we will soon run a Kickstarter for Adam plushies And we will also have some other goodies in there, one of them being sticker sheets, made by different artists! The first sheet is now finished and I'd love to hear which variation you like best! 1 -> green, stickers have green outline 2 -> green, stickers have white outline 3 -> rose, stickers have rose outline 4 -> rose, stickers have white outline

  18. Yes, I name each of the archipelago mini-islands so I can refer to them easily in video and in tribe stories I'm gonna miss the archipelago when we leave for the next island. I'll probably save it and keep playing it in the future. Anyways, the first island is named Arrival/starting island cause I was being uncreative lol. Others have decent names. A couple I named after the family line predominately there like Yellow and Pink islands. And I named one Long Island, cause it's long and narrow

  20. I gotta do some niche commands today. I'll probably post next episode today or tomorrow if all goes as planned... Here's episode 12: In this video two brothers of the red-blue-red line hunt a rabbit. Then two bunnies come out of the grasses, to mourn I suppose. In other news, Priduk and his mate prepare to cross the water to get to Crossing Point. Dukduk's death leaves Mememe a widow with 4 children on an unfamiliar and unsettled island. And many new children are born, including Rekoana's last child.

  28. She decides to go looking for them. Not to far away she find the little one on the port. She moves closer. Rain lands on their uncovered back and head, drenching them cold water. It's only a bit small than Daisy, and from here she can hear their sort whimpers and see their shivering body. There must be some way she can comfort it. Carefuly she takes out some of the stag-mole Baba had caught and offers it to the beayena child. They moves in closer and slowly Daisy brings them closer to her, sheltering it from the rain. Dispite being the one getting drenched, Daisy doesn't feel cold or wet. A smile breaks on her face. 'I wonder what we're gonna call you.'

  32. Wings I came up with something random recently and decided to post it on here. Please tell me if you have any suggestions for this idea! Ok, first the wings. I had this idea around a day ago to suggest a pair of wings that wouldn't take up a paw space (like regular wings or nimble fingers). This is so the nichelings would get to use their hands and be able to fly (they would probably be less powerful than regular wings, though, to have a slight trade off). This idea is... *drumroll please*... Bug wings! I thought these would look pretty cool, and kind of fit the jungle vibe that I wanted for them. I came up with some that looked a bit like dragonfly wings, and one that looked like ladybug wings (because they're so unique with the spotted (usually) red shell and everything). I'll list the possible criteria for the bug wings and ladybug wings here: (Regular) Bug Wings: - Invite an animal with these genes to your tribe - Spend 30 days in the jungle/deep jungle What they do: - 4 flight Ladybug Wings: - Invite and animal with these genes to your tribe - Spend 50 days in the jungle/deep jungle What they do: - 5 flight - 1 distasteful scent (apparently ladybugs smell bad when squished) ALSO PLEASE READ: Since I've fixed the amount of flight the bug and ladybug wings do, I want to say that, since the wings don't take up a paw space (like regular wings), they also don't come in twos (what do you think about this? I might change it later), so for now, the flight mechanic is the 'total' flight amount given by both wings, since you can't have just one. I also have concept art for this, so I'll put it here (ignore tree concept, I put those together but I'll make a different post for it that I might link once I finish if I can edit the post afterwards): (Also, please ignore most of the text on the concept art, because I might've changed something. It also says on the art, "Both bug + ladybug wings work the same as regular wings", but I hadn't included the stats yet. Yes, although they do work the same since they both fly, they don't have the same stats). Anyway, please feel free to include other suggestions, comments, or anything else (please tell me if these seem too OP, too)!

  33. Lilyripple ------------------------------------------------------------------- She had been having pleasant chats with Root in the last few moons. It made her think about the future, she didn't have much time left and Lichenwing was a disappointment. She would not let her legacy be tainted by that... she loved her son, but he was not suited for clan life. "Root, I have been enjoying the time we spend together and... Would you like to be my mate?" Mmh, too sudden. "Of course, Lilyripple! I like you too" Apparently not. I am sorry, Batnose, it's for the best...

  34. Part Fourteen, Day Thirty-One — Enkra I hopped off the last stepping stone just as it was engulfed by the ocean. WHAT IF I HAD STILL BEEN ON IT?!?! I WOULD HAVE DIED!! I WOULD HAVE BEEN CARRIED INTO THE SEA JUST LIKE RAHZERE. WHAT IF I WASHED UP ON THE SAME ISLAND THAT SHE’S ON?!?! “Hey, dude, chill.” Ique put his oddly nimble paw on my shoulder. I realized I was shaking. “You’re fine.” “Oh. Sorry.” I looked around at the island--our new home. We were almost surrounded by water, but a grassy strip of land attached us to the mainland. And the mainland was HUGE. Most of what I could see was grassy, but part of it was sort of blue-green. There were pointy trees as tall as me, and strange grass that had what sort of resembled acorns on the ends. What a strange land. And probably VERY DANGEROUS WITH LOTS OF WAYS TO DIE. Wait. No. Calm down, Enkra. You’ll die of old AGE OH NO I’M GONNA DIE SOMEDAY EVEN IF SOMETHING DOESN’T KILL ME OH NO OH NO OH N-- “Enkra, come on.” It was Queen Mii. Everyone else had already left the little grassy area where we arrived. I remembered that I was her mate now and felt a smidgen of pride. Out of all the males she could have picked, Queen Mii chose me to be her mate! I’m the mate of the best Queen ever! We’ll have the most beautiful children who will definitely not die. DEFINITELY NOT. I took some deep breaths. Calm, calm, calm. - - - - - Mii plucked a clam from the shore and held it in her teeth as I followed her into the Unknown with the rest of the Queendom. Ahead of us was a strange plant. It was large and leafy, with a giant, sweet-smelling fruit in the middle. Mii put down her clam and sniffed it. “Ooh! A fruit! It looks yummy!” She was about to take a bit when Onoko stopped her. “My Queen, be careful!” He held a paw out in front of the plant to block Mii, though since he couldn’t see where he was putting his paw, it was nowhere near the plant. “You don’t know if it’s poisonous!” “Who cares? Someone’s gotta find out!” Before anyone could stop her, Mii plucked the fruit out of its bush and took a large bite out of it. “OOOOH! Tasty!!” As she took a finishing bite, I noticed her wounds from her fight with Rahzere glow. “Mii! Look!” She twisted her head around to look at it. “Ooh, it tickles.” The glowing began to fade. When it was gone, her wounds had vanished. “Oooh! They’re gone! That fruit was tasty, and it healed me! COOL!” I sniffed her fur. “Mmm. You smell nice.” Mii blushed, then gasped, as though an idea had spring into her head out of nowhere. “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?!” I stared at her. “Uhhh.” “IT’S BABY TIME!” She began to hop around me in circles, her necklace of leaves miraculously not falling apart. I looked around nervously. The rest of the Queendom was exploring the Unknown already. “I—uh—” I managed to block out all the thoughts of terrible things that could happen to our children. “That’s kinda spontaneous—but okay.” I took deep breaths. I’m gonna be a dad. My children will be fine. They’ll be perfect.

  35. Part Thirteen, Day Thirty—Pnuma Dad says that even though Mom was cruel to him and the rest of the Queendom, she loved me. I don’t think that’s true. How could someone so cruel love a kid like me? But she’s gone now. Mii killed her. Uncle Enkra says Rahzere might still be alive, maybe even on the next island, waiting to kill us. But Uncle Enkra is a scaredy-rabbil. Mom’s dead. Mii--I mean, the Queen--is nice. She was a bit bloody when she got back. Ique licked her wounds for her, since she was so tired. She told us what happened why she rested. She told us she’s our Queen now, and things will change. Us males still have to do all the chores, but at least Mii won’t punish us hard like Dad said Mom did. Mii says we’re going to leave this island now. “It has too many bad memories attached to it,” she had said right before launching into her theory that rabbils are trying to take over the world. Mii also said that she had to pick a mate. She was a little disgusted, since we’re all related to her, but she said it was important that there is an Heiress to the Queendom. After a long time of thinking, she said she wanted Enkra to be her mate. He was the only one who didn’t smell too bad. She says that if someone smells bad to you, your kids might be weak and sick. Then Mii herded everyone onto the area beside the stepping stones. Before she stepped onto the first stone, she reminded us that we have to be quick. “Follow me, and go as fast as you can. The stones will collapse under you if you’re not careful.” Then she started running across the water-stones. She tripped so many times, it was a miracle that she didn’t fall into the water. I like my home. I’ve lived my whole life here—and so has everyone else. But it’s time for a change. So I followed my dad, with Plithhrin at my heels, and started the journey to my new home.

  36. Part Eight, Day Twenty-One—Queen Chenthya One more day. I could feel it in my bones. I had one final day left before I left for Tyni. Plithhrin and Ique brought in some rabbil meat and berries they had collected on their travels. Adam found two new berry stations, where the determined Niit took position, doing his best to keep anyone from starving. Enkra collected berries from his own bush. The second set of twins became teens. Onoko found a berry bush to try his collecting skills on. I taught the girls—mainly Rahzere—my final lessons. The sun was setting. My final night. Adam walked over to me. "My Queen...is it your time?" I nodded. He lay beside me. My daughters snooped on our conversation. Adam looked at me lovingly for the last time. "My time is coming soon, too. I think tomorrow may be my last day here." He nuzzled me. "I love you, my Queen. I have enjoyed all of our days together, even if we sometimes spend them separately." I did not respond. I stared at the horizon, where the sun was almost completely hidden. I had no regrets in my life, not one. Not attacking my sister. Not leaving my Queendom to form a new one. Not taking Adam as a mate, or treating him the way I did. Not having children, or not tending to my sons. Nothing. My life had gone well. My Queendom would prosper, as long as Rahzere followed my teachings. The sun vanished below the horizon. It began to rain. Adam fell asleep, snoring, against me. Mii came to lay on my other side and fell asleep instantly. Rahzere lay by herself. I could see my sons snoring in one great heaping pile of fur in the distance. I whispered a goodbye to the world. I may see it again, but it is unlikely. I closed my eyes, and darkness surrounded me. [distant evil giggling from me] I opened my eyes. I was in a beautiful place, nichelings with shimmering, transparent pelts around every corner. A large black female with orange spots was standing in front of me. She smiled, though it had evil behind it—as though the smile was not evil, but the one who wore it was. The female stood up. "Welcome, sister." I blinked. I did not remember this female. My only sister was the one who became Queen of my old Queendom; the sister whom I slashed at the eyes of. "I see you do not remember me. That is expected. I am Mekoko, goddess of trickery." I flinched—she could be tricking me at this very moment!—but Mekoko smirked. "Do not worry, I am not tricking you now. "When I was born, my parents —Phoenix, god of abandonment, and Sprigflower, goddess of dreams—" She sneered when she said the names"—took me to the mortal realm and left me there, to fend for myself. They say they could sense great evil in me, which is why my father was happy to abandon me, even though he usually shows no mercy to those who abandon their own children. When I died, I came here, and claimed my title as goddess. One of my sisters, Anaanala, was also abandoned, and has also claimed her title here; my parents must have made a mistake though, as she is not evil like they said she would be. Jungli and Jungla, another two of my sisters, were raised by our parents, but often go to the mortal realm for...well, whatever it is they do." I was starting to get bored. Mekoko was droning on and on and on about things I did not care about. Why did any of this concern me? "Pay attention!" She lashed out suddenly in anger, and swiped at my ear. It passed right through, as I was a Spirit now, and she was a goddess. I paid attention to her anyways—I did not want to already have an enemy here. "Finally, there was you. You were born to Phoenix and Sprigflower, the same as me. They sensed evil in you too—not as much as they claim they saw in me, but enough that they abandoned you, too. They tell me that they made sure to leave you near a friendly tribe, whom they hoped would raise you well, and rid you of evil." She smiled another evil smile. "Of course, that seems to not be the case, as you ended up here." She gestured around her. "These are the darkest parts of Tyni. Only nichelings like you and me live here." I waited until she was done talking to speak, so I would not anger her. "So, we are sisters?" "Yes. And you are a goddess, like me. See your body? It's completely opaque. Only gods and goddesses are like that here." "What am I the goddess of?" "You'll know soon—any moment in fact." Before she even finished speaking, I felt it. Power coursed through me. Chenthya. Goddess of narcissism and royalty.

  38. Part Six, Day Fifteen—Queen Chenthya Morning finally came, and there below my feet...was a baby girl! "An heiress!" I exclaimed. Adam came rushing over. "No, don't touch her. You get to raise the sons, and I raise my daughter—Rahzere, as I will name her—alright?" Adam looked sad, but nodded and went back to the boys, whom he began to teach to pick berries. I isolated myself and my daughter from the males for the next few days. I taught her to be a Queen, for when I would pass the crown onto her. I told her how to keep the males in line, how to greet wanderers in a way that makes them want to stay. When Rahzere became a teen, I came back to Adam, who was plucking berries with Niit, while the other two sons chased after rabbils. As soon as Adam saw me, he rushed over and nuzzled me. "My Queen! I have taken care of our sons as well as I could in your absence!" He also nuzzled Rahzere, who bristled at all of this 'affection.' I quickly whispered to my daughter, "No. Affection must be allowed, or the male will not want you as his mate, and you will have to use force." Rahzere flattened her fur down without a word. For some strange reason, she rarely spoke. I turned back to Adam, who was, as he had done days before, gazing at me lovingly. Fool. "Adam, dear." His ears perked up. "It is time for more children. Though we have an heir, it is good to have more sla—I mean, Queendomers." Adam's eyes shone. "Of course, my Queen!"

  41. Part Four, Day Nine—Queen Chenthya We took our first steps onto the new island. I could hear the stepping stones splash into the water. "We're here." I took a quick look around before giving my orders. "Adam, scout. We need to find a nest, or a place to make a nest." Adam obediently began to scout the area, while I cracked open a shell that I could reach without getting too wet. A day passed before Adam found a suitable nest for me. "May Paradigm bless our children," I whispered as I climbed into the nest. Adam went off to investigate the smell of stagmoles. "Oh. A boy." I looked down at my...offspring. This is not what I wanted. I wanted a daughter—daughters, if I could. "I suppose I have to name him... he will be called Plythhrin, then." Adam came to my side. "He's beautiful!" He nuzzled his son. "And he has the smell of Home." "Well, good, I'm glad you like him, because you'll be taking care of him. I have a more important matter—having a daughter before my body gives out." I stood and stepped out of the nest. "Adam, if you will—?" "Of course, your majesty."
