Duskstar has been reincarnated... for the third time. Dusktail love their clan, makes others happy and want to move territories. After a tough landing, the confused Duskkit/paw heads for the new port. Once on the new island, he encounters a female named Bumblelily. Bumblelily is bad with kits, wants to be brave and wants to move territories. Wow, look at that! They both want to move territories! Guess you know what that means! You thought they would immediately move territories? Nope. They are smart and decide to collect food for a few days first. Dusktail and Bumblelily don't really think of making a Clan at first, and don't even think much about becoming mates. Eventually, once they have enough food to last a while, they realize they like each other a little, and become mates. The first rain comes, and Bumblelily feels a strange feeling in her stomach, something she's never felt before. After a few days, she realizes what it is. "Dusktail! I know why my stomach hurts so much!" "Your stomach hurt? Bumblelily, you should have told me!" Dusktail gets distressed. "Please don't be mad, Dusktail. The reason my stomach hurt is that I'm expecting your kits!" Dusktail rejoices and is the happiest he's been since he lived on his Home Island. Then he realizes- how will he raise a kit without a Clan? He consults Bumblelily, and they agree they should start a Clan. They decide to call it DuskClan. The brand-new leader Duskstar feels like that name is familiar, but he can't quite figure out why. Duskstar and his deputy, Bumblelily, move to the next island. They soon find the perfect spot and have a kit, whom they name Lionstorm. Lionstorm is an average warrior, is a skilled hunter and isn't intimidating. Bumblelily isn't very good with handling Lionkit, though she does love him a ton. Duskstar looks after Lionkit while Bumblelily seeks out the nuts from the nearby tree. Soon a wanderer appears, and Dusktail, out of pity for the blind creature, invites him into the tribe. The cat's name is Cherryberry. They aren't very intimidating, would make a great medicine cat, and want to have kits. (Uh oh, looks like someone's gonna be breaking the Medicine Cat code!) Duskstar and Bumblelily have another kit and name her Emberkit. The cat is named Emberwhisper. They want to be connected with starclan, have a connection with starclan and are insane. (I'm gonna take this as they have a connection with Starclan, but don't realize it.) Cherryberry realizes he would like to be Medicine Cat. Dusktail takes Lionpaw as his apprentice. Emberpaw becomes the apprentice of Cherryberry, in hopes that he will be able to calm her insaneness by maing her a Medicine Cat too. Duskstar and Bumblelily have another kit and name him Shinekit. The cat is named Shinetumble. They are bad with kits, want to be a popular cat and want to be proficient in many skills. Because of her insaneness, Emberwhisper tries to convince Cherryberry to sneak away into the grasses and have a kit with him. Cherryberry has had a crush on Bumblelily all this time, and as Emberwhisper sounds so much like her mother, he thinks it's Bumblelily and agrees. Meanwhile, the Clan believes Emberwhisper and Cherryberry to be dead. The cat is named Blackseed. They are ambitious, have a connection with starclan and want to be proficient in many skills. As Blackkit is born, Emberwhisper finds a she-cat named Leafdust. The cat is named Leafdust. They aren't good at keeping the peace, are a bad fighter and want to be clan leader. Emberwhisper tries to reject her offer to join the Clan, but Cherryberry happily invites her in and sends her Duskstar's way. Bumblelily passes away, and Duskstar enters his second life. He makes Lionstorm deputy. Leafdust finds another wanderer who has mysteriously been damaged, taking twelve days from her lifespan, with only five days to live. The cat is named Ashblaze. They want to defend clan borders from rogues, are a good fighter and want to be proficient in many skills. Duskstar, feeling lonely after Bumblelily's death, takes in Ashblaze and makes her his new mate, partially due to the fact that she reminds him of his homeland. Emberwhisper tries to convince Cherryberry to be her mate again, but he retires as an elder and soon passes away of old age. Ashblaze and Dusktail have their kit. The cat is named Redbreeze. They make others happy, want to intimidate other cats and want to defend clan borders from rogues. Emberwhisper, being insane, decides she wants to fish and swims deep into the ocean to find fish. Blackpaw, horrified that her mother is going to kill herself and leave Blackpaw an orphan, stays on land and is found by Leafdust. (Duskstar had sent her to find the cause of Ashblaze's injuries.) Emberwhisper drowns as Blackpaw becomes Blackseed. Duskstar and Ashblaze frantically try to have another kit, but due to her low fertility, their attempts fail, and Ashblaze passes away the next day. Devestated at his second mate's death, Duskstar leads his Clan to the port. From left to right: Blackseed, Leafdust, Redbreeze, Lionstorm, Shinetumble, Duskstar. The new island is HUGE! Despite Leafdust's inability to do much, she and Redbreeze fall in love and soon have a kit named Cloudkit. Cloudkit inherited literally every good gene of his mother's, and received both of the mutations I gave her. The cat is named Cloudember. They are bad with kits, want to be a great warrior and are ambitious. Being the only untaken female, Lionstorm and Shinetumble fight over Blackseed. Duskstar lets Blackseed mate with one of them, on the condition that she only has kits until a female is born or found as a wanderer. Blackseed decides to become the mate of Lionstorm, due to him being Deputy, much to Shinetumble's disappointment. Shinetumble decides to set out to find a mate for himself. Lionstorm and Blackseed have their kit, a tom whom they name Smallkit. The cat is named Smallleaf. They are ambitious, want to make peace with other rogues and clans and love their clan leader. Cloudpaw becomes the apprentice of Shinetumble, thus joining him on his journey. Duskstar enters his third life. Smallpaw becomes the apprentice of Duskstar, as every other warrior is having kits or has an apprentice already. Redbreeze and Leafdust have another kit, Birdkit. The cat is named Birdember. They don't care about warrior code, are ambitious and are a bad fighter. Leafdust and Lionstorm retire as Elders. Redbreeze is made the new deputy. Blackseed was already pregnant when Lionstorm retired, so she has the baby. She names him Hollowkit. The cat is named Hollowmoss. They are a popular cat, aren't very ambitious and are a skilled hunter.

So this is a fairly simple challenge. Could be built upon. but in my naming file I have put in the custom names: Hunter, Defender, Gatherer, Healer, Grave Digger, Scout and Leader. The rules are simple, if a nicheling is born with one of the names they must fit to that role. Hunter: - Can only hunt + eat meat. - Claw if available must be in a mutation menu slot Defender: - Stands guard around nicheling area and must defend the pack from any threat. -This gets hard when name is given to a low strength nicheling - big body or armoured body if available must be in a mutation menu slot Gatherer: -Can only gather nuts and berries. Insects. - nimble fingers if available must be in a mutation menu slot Healer: - Heals other nichelings - Purr snout if available must be in a mutation menu slot - Seek out healing fruits Grave Digger: - Must dig up roots to bury fallen comrades. -Diggers Paw if available must be in a mutation menu slot Scout: -clears grass - Wing if available in mutation menu slot Leader: - Set to alpha status -Can do what he wants but must have an heir in case no "leader" is born in next Generation. Was also thinking about putting in an "Omega" or "Oracle" name in the mix. but let me know your thoughts. Puts a bit of randomness into the mix. One could also still have custom names but have the title act as a last name if they still wanted to differentiate New Title Suggestions: Fisher (LilyTuft) - Can only fish - Fishing tail if available in mutation menu slot. Here’s some pictures of my baby!

I'm trying to do my challenge, which you can find right here! I'm doing the hard version, where I completely rely on mutations and wanderer genes only to try to adapt to my environment. Wish me luck please 😓 We begin with, from left to right, Zatala, Anamera, and Zerolur. Jungle creatures, who have stumbled onto the wrong island. Spots for camouflage, toxic body and stinky tails to ward of predators, velvet paws to tiptoe across the jungle floor. Zerolur even has bird beak to help him pick at termites from their mounds, and a lean body to help him stay cool in the heat (completely forgot that big ears could've also been added, oops). But none of these helpful jungle genes will do them good in the freezing snow. Hesitantly they begin to explore. help me please Okay well apparently termite mounds occur on snow islands. Guess Zerolur's beak just became way more handy. He slurps some up and mates with Anamera, who quickly settles down in a nest. Zatala manages to snag a rabbil. So far so good, but there seems to be something rustling in the grass... Anamera gives birth to her first child, a bearyena headed male named Tano. Unfortunately he inherits his father's lean body, but overall he isn't so bad. Zerolur and Zatala focus on providing food for the small group, but they are eyeing each other through the grass blades. They mate the next day, and Anamera takes her first step onto the hard ground of the snow island. It feels unfamiliar and foreboding under her paws, yet she chooses to stay. It is her new home and she'll have to get used to it. Zatala gives birth to a beautiful son, Vankirkir, that has her tortoiseshell markings. He also sports a purr snout and luckily, medium body. I can tell he'll come to his tribe's aid later, healing them after attacks or hunger pangs. Two days later Zatala gives birth to twins, boys named Twizzler and Tango. They are nearly the same, except Tango has some antennae. Anamera also gives birth to a boy named Strawberry (so many boys oh god) and Zerolur continues to harvest termites and guard his children. Tragedy strikes. Zatala is attacked by a rogue male when trying to pick berries and becomes pregnant. Zerolur chases the male off, but he doesn't go very far. Twizzler and Tango watch in shock as the sudden scene plays out in front of them. Vankirkir however finds a new face skittering across the roots of a nearby acorn Tree. A lovely female his age, Ladybug. Unfortuantely she is quite slow and shows hints of aquatic ancestry, but Vankirkir could care less. Risking the growing group's food stores, he invites her into the tribe. Cold suddenly descends on the tribe, chilling Anamera to her bones. Tango and Vankirkir quickly jump to her side, warming her up. Twizzler meanwhile investigates his half-brother Strawberry, a red and pink strange looking fella. The two play-wrestle while Zatala's rogue attacker lurks nearby. The rogue's son, born a day or two before, has been tossed into the sea by Zerolur himself. He had twittered in satisfaction as the infant sank below the surface. Chaos. A mother bearyena and her cub pass by, leaving bleeding claw marks on Zerolur's and Zatala's hides. Tano, now grown and an excellent food provider, spots a bluebird up ahead. The weather grows colder. But the tribe isn't doomed yet. Tango, Strawberry, and Tano work together to bring the mother bearyena down. The bearyena cub scuttles away, and fortunately the rogue male dives into the sea, seemingly searching for his drowning son. Hopefully he drowns in the process am I right Soon it will begin to snow, and the tribe knows it. They huddle together, providing each other warmth and company. Strawberry and his other half-brother Tango settle next to a vulnerable Anamera and prepare for the first snowflakes to fall. The others try desperately to gather food for the coming freezing days. And sadly, Zatala's rogue son joins the crabbits and seaweed in a watery grave... honestly I feel so bad I've never purposefully killed a nicheling That's part one for now! Hopefully things look up next time, but that doesn't seem likely...

Flintear becomes Deerstars deputy despite already being kind of old. Flintear and Swiftripple have Birdkit and Tinykit. Birdleaf isn't very good at keeping the peace, she isn't happy with Deerstar but is very charming. Tinywing is a great warrior, she wants many kits and is strict. Houndbreeze has Shiningkit. Shininglightning is a bad fighter who doesn't care about morals and an explorer. The healers dream of far shores and the clan prepares to move. Flintear retireres and Drizzlestem becomes the new deputy. He is scouting the shores with the new warriors Shiveringsky and Shydawn to find the traveling ports. Deerstar is worried that the pregnant females won't be fit for the journey. A wanderer approaches and is invited in. Her name is Spoteye. Spoteyes is a little unappealing but she is a good hunter and wants to have a connection to StarClan. Sweetriver becomes mentor of Birdpaw. Both Stumpykit (son of Sweetriver and just as happy as his dad) and Emberkit (second daughter of Houndbreeze and Deerstar) are born right in front of the travelling ports. Stumpymistle is positive, popular and loves the new territory. Emberhawk has a connection to StarClan, is bad with kits and not very ambitious. Deerstar sends his Clan on with Drizzlestem ,soon to be leader, and Gorsesplash and Swiftripple stay behind as well. Watching their children leave. Despite never having an apprentice Drizzlestar chooses Shiveringsky to be his deputy and mate, she will mentor Stumpykit as soon as he is old enough. Emberpaw becomes Dandelionnose apprentice because of her connection to StarClan. A wanderer named Flashsplash is found by Shininglightning, she is intrigued by is sort of funny art, he obviously is trying hard to impress her. Spoteye and Stumpymistle start a family after he is left behind because he was picking up too many shells. They have one daughter Strikekit. Strikewhisper has a connection to StarClan, is an explorer and bad with kits. Shiveringsky and Drizzlestar have started their family as well. They have Blizzardkit, Finchkit and Whorlkit. Blizzardsong is a bad hunter and not very ambitious but his big figure is still intimidating. Finchlightning is hostile and wouldn't be a very good leader but he is loyal to JuniperClan. Whorlleg is a skiller hunter but because she has such a high sense of morals, that she tries to put over everybody, she is not very popular. Birdleaf charms Dandelionnose into starting a family with her, she wants to preserve her wonderful poison fangs. They have Flintkit, Olivekit and Berrykit. Flintprickle would be a great leader, he likes the current leader and he is aloof. Olivetree is bad with kits, grumpy but would still be a good leader. Berrysplash has high morals, is really bad with herbs and ambitious. Pricklesong, Flashsplah’s sister shows up, she was already frantic because her brother had just vanished, now it is obvious why Flashsplash tries so hard to be popular because is sister is and it comes natural to her. Tinywing becomes mentor of Flintpaw and Shydawn is mentor of Blizzardpaw. Shininglightning starts a family with Flashsplash. They have Podkit and Nectarkit. Podstorm is not happy with the current leader, loves the territory and would be a great med-cat Nectarbranch is a bad hunter, he doesn't care much about the warrior code but he his hard working, determined to get many skills. Flashsplash mentors Strikepaw and his sister Flintpaw. Stumpymistle mentors Whorlpaw. A young wanderer comes into the clan, his name is Applepaw and he was led by StarClan he becomes Emberhawk’s apprentice. Applepaw, later named Appleprickle, is a little unaproachable because he is so shy, but he trusts in StarClan's will. Drizzlestar died and Shiveringstar takes his place, naming Tinywing her deputy. Tinywing just started a family with Shydawn. They have Poppykit and Eelkit. Poppypelt wants to make others happy, is popular and has a high sense of morals. Eelclouds is a bad fighter and very peaceful, he loves his clan. Whorlpaw is highly irritated by her mentor because he doesn't train with her that often. Flashsplash dies of a leech infection. Shininglightning is devastated. Emberhawk doesn't feel much better because she was distracted by a rogue female. The young female wanderer had a right to distract the healers though because she is sick. She is invited into the clan by Pricklesong. Her name is Webstorm. Podpaw becomes Emberhawks second apprentice. We have a healer boom Shininglightning gets to train Olivepaw, leaving her newborn son Nectarkit in the nursery, which is as always guarded my Stumpymistle. Stumpymistle gets a second apprentice with Berrypaw and despite being very young Blizzardsong gets Poppypaw as his. Blizzardsong and Finchlightning take down a bearyena together. Defending Emberhawk while doing so. Blizzardsong died of his wounds the following moments. Olivetree and Poppypaw who watched in shock start hunting down the bearyena baby in vengeance. Finchlightning becomes mentor of Poppypaw and Strikewhisper of Nectarpaw. Flintprickle becomes mentor of Eelpaw. Strikewhisper, Whorlleg and Nectarpaw take down a Bearyena at the west end of the territory, Nectarpaw is named Nectarbranch after that. Emberhawk and Appleprickle start a family and have Snowkit and Windkit. Snowsong is protective, an explorer and doesn't care much about the warrior code. Windshadow is proud, would be a great med-cat and has many skills. Finchlightning starts a family with Webstorm, more out of sadness than love. They name their daughter Blizzardkit after her brave uncle. Later they have a son named Jackdawkit. Blizzardheart is a good fighter, curious and loyal. Jackdawfern is a little strange, loves his leader and wants to uphold the warrior code. A young tom with the name Thistleblaze is found by Stumpymistle. Thistleblaze is a peacemaker but no leader and an average warrior. Finchlightning is named deputy by the newly risen Tinystar. Strikwhisper and Flintprickle started their family, it was a long time coming. Their first kit is Sparrowkit. Sparrowpelt is a bit strange but he wants to make others happy and is also a peacemaker. Whorlleg is mentoring Blizzardpaw and Olivetree is mentoring Snowpaw. Snowpaw is very weak and small but fast and good at collecting. Tinystar hopes that Olivetree can connect as he has nimble fingers, but Olivetree is very fierce and has the spiky body. Will he really be able to connect to Snowpaw? A bearyena attacks Whorlleg, Nectarbranch and Blizzardpaw. Podstream is close by gathering herbs, it seems like destiny is repeating itself but Whorlleg isn't going to get her niece and apprentice hurt. She and Nectarbranch weaken the bearyena and Blizzardpaw delivers the final blow. In hopes of finding his sister, Thistleblaze calls out from a stump and to his surprise she shows up. Brackencry is not very intimidating and definitely not leader material but she is very popular nonetheless. Meanwhile Tinystar tries to pull Finchlightning out of the pit he fell into after his brother’s death. It isn't easy but he is deputy and has responsibilities. Whorlleg is still fighting, so Finchlightning should as well. Windpaw becomes healer apprentice and Nectarbranch and Whorlleg are bonding quite well. Olivetree actually bonds with Snowpaw over their shared roles as collectors in a clan full of warriors.
